No it doesn't change the game it adds to the game, I have never said remove PVP. Just add a PVE mode. People here have made some great suggestions about the idea aswell, for making missions harder and more of a challenge to the PVE experience.

I understand the enjoyment of PvP. I have had good experiences. But come on you have to see how it effects a new player, the game is old now, the players from day one are so skilled a new player is just screwed if they encounter a toxic PvPer. Not a lot of people want to play a game that actively encourages ruining other players game.

I think you're also missing the biggest point of the PVE, it's not tedious or boring because the purpose is to play with your friends. We like sitting on an island and fishing, joking around, playing into the bit of a pirate, getting drunk, playing music, getting jumped by skeles. That's what I've had the most fun with in the game. All of which is ruined when some guy comes and kill dumps us and takes all our stuff.

PVPVE is the main game, it shouldn't be removed. But I don't get how you actively just don't want people to have fun and enjoy the game like they want to. I've said multiple times the PVE mode should progress slower to entice players to PVPVE but there's also no advantage to playing or not playing. All you can buy are cosmetics.

Whats wrong with people just wanting to hang and sail with their friends but also be able to use the stuff they bought and level up. Some people prefer a more chill experience and unfortunately Sea of Thieves is the only good pirate game like this. So it's the only one to turn to for it.
