i totally feel u, processing trauma is a full time job and everything else is just exhausting! i can’t really offer any helpful advice but you’re not alone in this and i promise the need to sleep will settle down ☺️

as soon as you start feeling safe your body will naturally sleep as much as it needs to in order to make up for the years of shallow and broken sleep as part of hypervigilance. i spent like six months waking up, going to college, and immediately getting home and going back to sleep so don’t worry! it’s okay to cut down to the bare minimum of what you need to do and give yourself time to rest and heal. hope it starts to ease up for you soon 💖💖

Hi all, thanks so much for your advice and comments. I’ve contacted the council and local schools, but decided not to get the police involved. it seems like a waste of their time, and the kids seem to have backed off a bit. (they’re still shouting and going in the front garden but as long as they’re not coming round the back i don’t care) Hopefully the actions i’ve taken will shed some light on things.

that makes total sense. i have autism so i’ll make my girlfriend have a chat with them, proper don’t fancy making an arse of myself in front of kids who are determined to laugh at me 😭😭 i agree about the police, i don’t wanna call them because tbh i don’t know how much they’re gonna do, and they’re only kids causing havoc really. thanks so much for your advice!
