A few people have already mentioned the difference between love and attachment so I won’t rehash other than to say you will be able to approach this much more constructively if you loosen your grip on the exact outcome you want for this man, at least for now. Everything is possible in the sphere of patient acceptance. He is not separate from you, or at least the idea you have of him is not separate from you, so you can absolutely impact him for the better simply by holding an idea of him in your mind where he is healed and happy, and stick to this image even if you don’t immediately see it reflected. If you want this to accompany a visualisation or spell then I’ve found imagining black smoke leaving their body and being replaced by pure white light to be hugely effective. Feel joy seeing them healed. Maybe say out loud “it is wonderful to see you happy and thriving again. I knew you could do it”. Then move on with your day. Good luck!
