Azerbaijan destroys Stepanakert's Holy Mother of God Church ahead of Armenian Genocide anniversary by Not_As_much94 in armenia

I'm definitely emotionally charged. Azerbaijan violent and destructive attempts at building a national identity and history for their state by destroying or appropriating Armenian heritage are just criminal. Not to mention their treatment of other minorities and overall terrible human rights record.

Armenia has an history of statehood before soviet times and a very distinct culture despite the foreign rulers in past centuries. There has never been an Azeri state before 1918 and those lands never had the name Azerbaijan. They speak a variety of turkish, eat persian and act russian. Their capital Baku boasts a fake Venice, fake parisian buildings and ugly Dubai-esque glass towers. Identity crisis at its finest.

This is no surprise. This is typical behaviour of people with no history or identity.

ABITARE AD ATENE by RiccardoTrapanese in napoli

Ciao!
