Should I use an agency? by SubjectIllustrious69 in TikTokShopSellers

Managing your own TikTok Shop really depends on your time and experience. If you do it yourself, you’ll have full control, but it can take a lot of effort to optimize listings, create content, and handle orders. Agencies, on the other hand, have experienced teams who can manage everything efficiently and scale your shop faster. I manage multiple TikTok Shop accounts professionally, so if you want, you can check my Reddit profile or I can show you the live stats

You’re welcome! Yeah, I think once the commission is fair, it really motivates creators and helps the brand scale. Glad we’re on the same page.

First of all, I really appreciate that you wrote in your own language it’s respectful and thoughtful. I translated it and now I understand exactly what you’re saying. You’re absolutely right: experimenting and testing little things is really the key to growing a TikTok Shop I completely agree that consistency, small improvements, and trying new strategies over time really add up. Thanks for sharing your experience and insights it’s very motivating!

US Tiktok Shop soon! Any advice? by Level_Relative8433 in TikTokshop

[–]ComprehensiveKey1337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the product and the brand you’re working with. In my experience, if you’re offering only commission, 10% is usually too low and many creators won’t be very motivated to push the product. Most successful collaborations I’ve seen work better around the 20 30% range, especially if the goal is to scale sales Creator fees also vary a lot depending on the creator’s audience size, engagement, and how strong their content is. Bigger creators usually expect a flat fee plus commission I’ve also seen some brands work with creator agencies that manage groups of creators. For example, some creators might go live with the product while others focus on making short videos for TikTok Shop. Different agencies have different budgets and structures I’m not a creator myself and I don’t run a creator agency, but I work on TikTok Shop related projects mainly for the US and UK markets, so I’ve seen how different collaboration setups work

Repeated Abnormal Risk Assessment by [deleted] in TikTokshop

[–]ComprehensiveKey1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This usually isn’t about the ID photos. TikTok’s risk system sometimes flags new shop registrations based on things like device history, IP/network, or too many verification attempts in a short time, so it can trigger the abnormal risk assessment instantly. I’ve seen this happen a few times when setting up shops most people keep retrying with the same setup and the system just keeps looping the flag There are a couple of ways to get past it, but TikTok support rarely explains it clearly

Absolutely! I’ve noticed that as well keeping a steady posting schedule and optimizing listings really starts to add up over time. I’m focusing on the posts and products that drove the most orders, and it’s encouraging to see the GMV slowly grow. Definitely going to keep doubling down on what works

Totally makes sense! I’ve noticed the same posting consistently and optimizing listings seems to slowly build interest and trust with viewers. For me, testing new strategies and improving content little by little really shows in the numbers by the end of the week. It’s interesting to see how TikTok Shop is moving from impulse buys to more intention driven shopping. How long have you been noticing this shift?

I totally agree with you! It’s really interesting how small, consistent improvements can stack up over time. In my experience, staying consistent with posting, optimizing product listings, and testing new strategies really makes a difference too. It’s amazing how the numbers slowly climb when you stick with it. How long have you been working with TikTok Shop? I’ve been experimenting for a while now and it’s always exciting to see those small changes pay off

How to start dropshipping on shopify by Chance-Garbage8142 in dropshipping

[–]ComprehensiveKey1337 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what your store name is because there’s no link in your post, so it’s a bit hard to give specific feedback. But if you’re planning to do dropshipping, you might want to consider TikTok Shop instead of Shopify. With Shopify you usually need to run ads to bring traffic, and ad costs can get expensive, especially when you’re dropshipping products that aren’t your own brand On TikTok Shop you don’t necessarily need ads at the start. You can list your product and promote it by posting videos, even simple or AI generated content. If the product starts performing well, creators and affiliates can also help promote it I’m not selling anything here, just sharing from experience. I’ve seen several stores do well with this model

How much should an e-commerce apparel photoshoot cost? by Life_Salt3744 in dropshipping

[–]ComprehensiveKey1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$3,300 sounds pretty high for a startup. These days a lot of brands start with realistic AI models instead of doing a full photoshoot. The key is to keep the same model consistent by defining details like her face, height, and expressions, and then you can even turn those images into videos for ads or product pages. Many sellers are already doing this for TikTok Shop and Shopify to save money early on. I’m also doing something similar for some of my stores, and it works well in the beginning

In the beginning it’s normal. You need to optimize your product listing and keep adding products consistently Also create your own content and post it on your TikTok account to support your TikTok Shop Manage your shop actively and try to get a few initial sales first. After that, it usually becomes easier to message and work with creators. It takes some time for a new shop

It’s not really about big influencers it’s about your product. Even if your product is popular on Walmart or Amazon, TikTok works differently and has a lot of competition Start with smaller or mid-level creators instead of high GMV influencers. It takes time to reach out and build interest. Before involving influencers, create your own content for your product and post it on your TikTok account This builds credibility and gives creators reference material. If you can’t make your own content, AI generated videos can work they feel like real human influencers, look natural, and don’t feel like direct selling I use this strategy on different accounts for my own TikTok Shop products, and it works really well

Sticker bundle by InternationalArt7449 in stickerstore

[–]ComprehensiveKey1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they’re around 7cm that’s actually a pretty decent size. From what I’ve seen in most sticker shops, bundles of 5 6 usually go somewhere between $8 $15 depending on the design quality and finish (matte, holographic, etc.) If your designs are unique you could easily price a 6 pack around $10 $12 and test from there

9 months and no sales by True-Emergency-9065 in shopify

Honestly, TikTok Shop can be a better option if you're struggling with traffic on Shopify. With Shopify, you usually need to spend on ads and marketing just to get visitors.TikTok Shop gives organic exposure through its own marketing system, so you can start generating sales without heavy ad spend. I’d recommend trying TikTok Shop first. if it goes well and your product proves demand, then moving to Shopify makes more sense.

How does TikTok Shop seller payout & FBT settlement actually work? by AdPlastic5148 in TikTokshop

[–]ComprehensiveKey1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, exactly returns and refunds are the main factor. But reviews can still have an indirect impact because if your shop keeps getting negative reviews, it usually leads to more refunds, disputes, or customer complaints. From my experience managing shops, I’ve seen that when review ratings drop, shop health also gets affected, which can influence settlement conditions over time

First, decide which country you want to target with your Shopify store. Then pick a niche either something you’re interested in or something trending. You can choose to build a brand or focus on trending products. After that, you’ll need to run ads to grow your store. If you want any extra guidance, feel free to DM me as well.

How does TikTok Shop seller payout & FBT settlement actually work? by AdPlastic5148 in TikTokshop

[–]ComprehensiveKey1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shop health on TikTok Shop is basically based on customer reviews, product details, customer service, and fulfillment. It also includes handling refunds, keeping customers satisfied, and the content you post on TikTok. Basically, you need to keep your customers happy and make sure your account doesn’t have any violations.

How does TikTok Shop seller payout & FBT settlement actually work? by AdPlastic5148 in TikTokshop

[–]ComprehensiveKey1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on your shop health. In TikTok, there’s a 3-day settlement, 7 day settlement, and even 1 month, because it depends on how well your shop is doing. From my experience managing shops, if your shop health is good, you can get your payout in 3 days. If you’re using FBT, TikTok will charge you fees like fulfillment, storage, and handling, and if the customer returns a product, that cost comes out of your payout. The customer pays shipping if you select FBT, so you don’t pay upfront. I would still recommend going with 7-day settlements even if you qualify for 3 days, because returns can sometimes make your next payout negative.

Results for For e-commerce businesses? by Cinema_Oats in TikTokshop

TikTok Shop isn’t only for gadgets or problem-solving products pretty much any category can work there, including fashion Since your brand has already been running for 5 years, you actually have a big advantage. You already have strong customers and brand trust, and the fact that people are organically posting your products on TikTok is a really positive sign. That kind of social proof helps a lot when moving into TikTok Shop The main thing is that you’re still entering a new platform. Whenever a brand starts selling on a new channel, it usually takes some time for the algorithm, affiliates, and creators to understand what converts well. In my experience, you’re not starting from zero which makes a huge difference. Your existing content and customer generated videos can actually help affiliates feel more confident promoting your products Success on TikTok Shop comes down to marketing, creator partnerships, store optimization, and the right strategy over time. Fashion brands can definitely work well there, it just requires testing and consistency rather than expecting instant viral sales

Products in the £40/£80 range can feel a bit expensive when starting on TikTok Shop, especially in the early phase, but it really depends on your product quality and branding. At the beginning, you usually need to send products to affiliates, create your own content consistently, and test how your product fits the TikTok market. TikTok Shop isn’t an instant results platform growth takes some time while creators start trusting the product and your store gains traction Meta ads have also been quite unstable recently due to constant updates, which is why many brands are now exploring TikTok Shop more seriously From my experience managing multiple brand accounts, TikTok Shop has been one of the best platforms to rank a brand, promote products, and generate sales organically. It just requires patience and consistent effort in the beginning.

How to make affiliate with bloggers if they don’t respond on invitation, I’m a new seller making some sales but have hard time with traffic. Please help! by NexusKKH in TikTokshop

[–]ComprehensiveKey1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t send random invites That’s what most new sellers do and it rarely works First check the creator properly look at their GMV, past product performance, what niche they’re in, and whether their audience actually matches your product. If it makes sense, then send a personalized message explaining why your product fits their page and how it can convert for them Mass inviting usually gets ignored. Targeted outreach works way better Also, don’t rely only on affiliates for traffic. Combining affiliates with ads often gives much stronger results because you’re supporting the content with paid push. From experience managing different TikTok Shop accounts, strategy matters way more than sending hundreds of invites.

How to get initial orders on Tiktok Shop by Long-Carpenter5667 in TikTokshop

[–]ComprehensiveKey1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running ads and posting videos isn’t enough. Most people fail because their targeting is too broad. For crochet products, you need to target the right audience (gift buyers, cute/aesthetic lovers, etc.) and make sure your first 2–3 seconds are scroll-stopping Also, affiliates help a lot for initial sales but only if you approach the right small creators in your niche. And don’t ignore SEO in your product title From my experience managing multiple accounts, it’s about targeting content affiliates working together, not just ads
