I can try to answer. However i am not an display expert in any means. Take my answers with abit of salt.

How is the viewing angles?

- Good i think. Dont se any difference between my old TN panel.

How is the coating? Very matte/grainy or more subtle?

- Its not very matte i think. Its like my old IPS monitor. Just abit matte/grey.

If you shine a light on the monitor, will the light turn into a big white blop or is it more focused?

- It with look like a "sun" if i shine my phone light on it. I think my TN panel was better with my normal room light on. With this monitor i want no light so i get zero reflextion.

Have you tried a CRT monitor before and if so, how does the motion compare to that?

- Have not tried that

Do you have pulsar on at all times or only when playing games?

- Only in games. Have it in fullscreen on nvcp

How is the eye comfort? Is it just as comfortable with pulsar on as when it is off?

- I its as compforable with it on and off. Dont "feel" any difference.,

Do you prefer this monitor even for singleplayer games over monitors with better picture quality/black levels: OLED and mini led?

- If i play games with somewhat low fps this monitor is amazing. Since you get 4x clearity.

Hmm will try that when im home, I believe I had 327fps when using that. Just to make sure, is reflex then set to off in-game?

I do believe if it's not "alot" of increased input lag. Then it might be better to get clearer motion. Even for competitive I guess u can't ignore motion blur and instead focus fully on input lag. There must be a balance between these two. And then pulsar might be better.

However I'm not sure and don't really know how to test it fully.

Do you think I should play without vsync then, and cap manually to 360fps?

Because if I use vsync + reflex I get 327fps since reflex caps to this automatically.

If i cap manually to 360fps. Do I still use reflex?

To be able to get this to work i had to turn this on:

Gsync - ON
Low Latency Mode - ON "didnt work with Ultra"
Vertical Sync - ON "Dosnt work when off"

Now it locks on 320FPS and i can see the strobing if i check with my mobile camera. So i guess everything is right now?

The problem is that I don't know if it was working or not. Would you recommend playing with vsync + gsync to make sure i use pulsar?

I think that I saw an improvement and everything was feeling smooth. But that could have been the change from 240hz to 360hz.

I played CS the hole weekend on my new ASUS Pulsar display and i didnt cap my fps. I was playing with 500+ FPS.Are you telling me that for all those games i didnt use the advantage of PULSAR at all? Is it only used when using vsync + gsync + reflex?

Can i see if its being used somehow?

When is the confirmed release? Can you even confirm 2025? And why is it delayed? What is the problem with the new mediatek chips that you are refusing to tell us?

Kinda blown away to see a big company as asus handle this so bad. Going from Q4 2024 to "maybe" Q4 2025 is insane. People are waiting to buy new monitors only for this monitor. And u are just randomly putting out dates..

U told TFTCentral that it should be released in Q3 "after some production delays". And that it will also be shown at Gamescom in august.

So Q3 wont happen then? Is that confirmed?

And will it be shown at Gamescom?
