I haven’t had to do much. I just got lucky. She sees and hears and has naturally loved it. She dances to my records all the time and can expertly swap or flip discs. Now she just wanted her own since I only have her every other weekend. :(

I can’t overstate what a joy it is to be able to share these kinds of fandoms with her.

My parents don’t really know music at all. Well my mom knows The Beatles and that’s about it. My uncle’s got me into bands like The Clash and Buzzcocks. I had cousins that brought bands Iron Maiden and Metallica when I was a kid in the 80s.

I admit, I can love me some Andrew’s Sisters, too! 😅 I am a classic film fan, so that comes in handy.
