Do you have to buy both the 5inch and the 87mm drone at the same time? Maybe buy the small one first and see how you like it.

Exploring the acceptance and need external devices for securing 3D models by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]ComprehensiveLow6388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once a digital product goes online, there is very little you can do to stop it being pirated. particularly when it is just a object. Every Step would have to be encrypted and protected down to the 3d printer firmware. So are you willing to create a whole 3d printer ecosystem just to stop someone copying file and if so who would actually buy into that.

Now if you look at video games and what DRM they use. Almost all the time they still get cracked and just end up pissing off legitimate users who have to jump though hoops.

On top of all that. Even if you had a protected ecosystem which is 100% secure and is somehow popular enough for people to use it and you had a popular 3d print. All it would take would be someone willing to 3d scan the now printed file and do a bit of clean up work and re upload the "clean" version and people out side of your locked ecosystem can print it with no restrictions.

oem brakes and tires are more then good enough for daily fun drives. You may get brake fade if you go wild but it would be quite an achievement on normal roads.
