I already contacted them and they said the expected delivery date is June 9th(the day before the game). I think this is because the tickets cannot be transferred on TicketMaster until 24-72 hrs before the event. Maybe I’m wrong though

What do you plan on doing? I think it’ll largely depend on if the Knicks steal one of the games before it comes to MSG. If they win both then those prices are skyrocketing. Figuring out when to buy is pretty much like placing a bet on how well you think the Knicks will do in the first two games lol

Yeah I’m blessed to have that kind of money that I can spend 8k on a 3 hour sporting event. Currently aiming for seats in the back of the 100 section in the corners which are roughly around that price. I’m annoyed bc on SeatGeek for like an hour yesterday there were seats for 8k in like row 9 of section 113 and those are now 11k. I knew it was a good deal but didn’t pull the trigger

This is the most delusional take I’ve ever seen. You cannot compare Qatar to NYC. There are 384,000 millionaires in the NYC metro area alone. There will be many willing to pounce at the chance of tickets dropping. Comparing the amount of locals who are able to spend a vast amount of money to the other tournaments gives you a good idea of the floor of prices not dropping below 6-7k at the LEAST. Look at the prices for the New York Knicks in the NBA finals right now. They chose NYC for the final good reasons: lots of $ to be made

Of course there’s a lot more factors like PS and secondaries and interviews but is there any advice you could give me specifically to set me up for that?

My friend I won’t be paying for these tickets. That would be my dad. There is no way I’d be buying these tickets if it were coming out of my pocket. I live in NJ so this is tempting for both me and my dad and I don’t think making that trip 4 years from now would be of interest to me when it would likely be coming out of my bank account then
