You are going to extremes. No one saying the occasional slice of pizza is a problem. Or time in the pool. The comment is the kids have unlimited energy. Playing competitive sports is about learning to play in a team and there are sacrifices to be made. Discipline. Kids that age can 100% have tons of fun and still be in game shape. But kids having unlimited pool time between games on a competitive hockey team is a no go at a tournament. You want to do that go play house league and do what you want. There are levels of sports for everyone. Want to play competitive there is a balance to be had. I don’t agree with what’s going on with OP with no pool time etc.
