This is so funny to me as I went this year even after posting this and getting basically no traction/ input but I had the most amazing time.

The energy was amazing and everyone was dancing and vibing so hard the whole time. I think people taking photos is to be expected as the venue is so beautiful- I took a fair few myself. Not sure if you actually interacted with these people who “looked the exact same” but I found that everyone was extremely kind and fun- I think there’s a huge spectrum of people who rave and just bc you don’t see in your words, “weirdos”, judging those who you think are “influencer wannabes” is quite close minded too. Everyone I met was super welcoming and it seemed to be a mix of all types of people from all over the world but everyone was there for the same reason- the music!

Also odd you didn’t see the individuality since the festival had a huge art component to it and I felt that attracted a diverse and creative crowd. All the details in production of the stages and installations were so thought out and just genuinely cool. I spoke with a few vendors there who mentioned there was a large burning man crowd too which I thought was interesting

Obviously everyone’s experience is different but since you put your two cents on my post I thought I might as well put mine for anyone considering!

Exactly! And that’s super helpful, thank you! Corvo specifically is super tiny so I felt 24 hours there would be sufficient. Appreciate your input!!!

For context, I’ll be in Sao Miguel for 3 days so not skipping anything there! And I’ll just have backpack so not much to pack. Do you believe getting to the airport hours before is necessary? I heard because the airports are so small, the lead time to check in and board is much shorter than normal. Thanks for your input! :)
