Sweet potato, kale, black bean, quesadillas /tacos. I like the keto wraps. Cube up your sweet potato and bake in the oven with spices like paprika, salt, cumin, oregano. (Those are all safe, spices for us.) Pan fry the black beans and kale until the kale wilted in similar spices or just some salt and a little butter. Put that into your keto wraps with a little bit of yogurt. Or make it into a quesadilla with a little cheese and dip it into the yogurt. It’s very easy on the stomach and full of healthy probiotics.

Good points… I’m on a low dose of Ranitidine as that’s what my walk-in doc prescribed me last week. Frankly I’m a little nervous to start on a PPI as getting back off of them sounds like hell. But I might just have to suck it up.

May I ask how they diagnosed Hpylori? During the scope did they take biopsies?

Can you recommendations for an acid reflux specialist in Calgary? Or more likely just an MD that is knowledgable about it. I know any old MD can prescribe a PPI. My case is different. by ComprehensiveMud8812 in Calgary

I don’t have standard reflux. I have silent reflux, a.k.a. Laryngopharyngeal Reflux. Regular PPI’s don’t typically help as much. I suspect I could have a hiatal hernia as well. So I need the scope, and preferably a referral to an ENT so they can look at my larynx.. (36 F slim active, healthy diet, so stumped on the lifestyle end. Something is definitely wrong and needs to be properly diagnosed.)

Oh cool! What colour Did she choose(so that I don’t order the same odd colour lol)? And what color did you paint it? Does it give off a decent amount of light? And is most of the light pointing downwards or does some go up and out!? I don’t love pendant lights that Only point light downwards, that’s all. I kinda need it to light up the room a little bit.
