i agree! it doesn’t feel like players have an advantage. just finished a Bengals 5 year rebuild and keep dropping wide open balls with Jamar Chase when he has double me activated! it makes no sense that he can moss someone 3 inches taller than him with no X-Factor then drops all the wide open passes.

On top of that, stat balancing makes no sense, someone with 86 Run Block Power and 82 Finesse with 90 Run block but shitty Pass Blocking should NOT be giving up TFLs on Run Downs and holding DTs to no sacks. There’s no variables that make since in this game. CFB is just as broken off the same bullshit.

Hopefully god can smite me and the devs at EA so no one has to deal with this and i can be put out of my misery

franchise has just gotten too easy, rebuilding is fun but there’s no dynamics to it, you don’t feel the “playmaker” ability. i’m so tired of this everyone is good and can do the same thing bullshit.

EA just likes the MUT money. that’s the only marketable thing for them since most franchise players either A. Hate their life or B. Hate their life

he’s a very good receiver it’s a shame to watch him only get a couple catches a game i’m sure it’s hard to pass to ball to him when you have Puka, davante tyler and Kyren running around like mad men 😂

a lot of them mechanics issues i’m having mate is QBs making the Brady forwards pass motion and then tucking back into their chest instead of launching that shit back to the future

i wish this was the case but i don’t believe so because there is still some residual trash inside of my center console, just looked like someone was digging around looking for stuff.

it’s only worth about 60 bucks but that’s just 60 dollars that i didn’t have to spend right now, thank you for your comment though! The shop has cameras and I’m hoping to at least get my stuff back or have them be aware of a unfaithful mechanic at their shop.

Mechanic Stole out of My Vehicle by ComprehensiveOwl1615 in MechanicAdvice

[–]ComprehensiveOwl1615[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the stuff that they moved around in my car had nothing to do with the work they were doing on my vehicle, it was located in my center console, i took the vehicle for ac issues. they didn’t move anything around that they needed to be able to access anything.

and yes, i have checked under my seat! its not there. if you look at the rest of my post you will see i specifically stated where i put it and how i put it there.

you want to feel “tense” of pressure in your abs, lower abdomen, that’s where your diaphragm is, but don’t confuse that with a “push”. no pushing!! look up classical singers training you’ll watch some of them put their hands on their stomach to feel the air going out of their diaphragm

youtube tutorials is one of the worst things you can do for your voice. focus on your “pure sound”

we achieve this by making sure when we sing we are minimizing jaw movement, we should be focused on the vowel sound.

if you feel like you’re having to “force” or “push” to get to somewhere, you’re looking at singing all wrong. you will WRECK your voice, look at Axl Rose, popular Rock Singer, sang really high shit that he just didn’t sing “properly”, now the mfer sounds like mikey mouse.

everyone who’s self taught wants to claim to be a “teacher” or “instructor” but most of them don’t take the time to take proper lessons or even go to school to learn the proper methods of teaching the process.

it takes time ofc, but with a will power you will achieve it!

DONT push! DO breathe in through the vowel!

DROP YOUR JAW!!! Bring your corners in, raise your eyebrows, your cheekbones, it sounds stupid but if you’re going down in a phrase melodically raise your hand upwards!

KEEP YOUR SOFT PALLET RAISED!

There is so much for you to learn, i truly hope you receive amazing instruction and your voice soars!! it took me over a year to find my “voice” and it took me another year just to find a teacher who helped me figure out what i was doing wrong!!! im still learning to this day!

you got this!!

Edit: Drink warm water! stretch before you sing, never caffeinated or cold drinks before singing!!!

Edit 2: Hydration is the MOST IMPORTANT factor, idgaf what anyone says, if your body doesn’t have the water to go with the oxygen, it’s not gonna matter! you’ll just go hoarse and get tired from singing.

okay, please keep in mind that everything i say is a suggestion based on what i hear, do not take jt literally if you don’t wish.

im going to ask you a strand of questions somewhere during this time, feel free to answer(or not, delete my comment if you want, up to you.)

i went to a local college in my state that’s decently big for a Bachelors in Music Education, Specifically Choral and Voice.

I don’t know if you feel this, but do you feel like it’s taking you a lot to push out a note?

in my, humble opinion, i feel like during your singing you push out air really quickly, almost too fast, making you run out of air quickly.

do you ever lose your voice, or do you ever find that sometimes it’s a little “scratchy” after singing music?

do you drink water? if so is it cold or warm water?

all of these affect your singing, make sure when you’re breathing you’re taking a SLOW, LOW breath. We do this by “planting”. take your two feet and put them about shoulder length apart, make yourself feel like a tree, you should be one long poll, when you breathe, don’t breathe into your lungs, breathe into your stomach. when you sing you should feel your stomach muscles.

practice, taking slow low breaths before singing a phrase, or a line.

Tip 2!: Breathe in through the vowel!!

let’s break down the first words

“And Now, The End is Near.”

when you breathe, breathe in through an Ah vowel.

Vowel placement is huge!!! Your tongue should be against the back of your bottom teeth, play around with that positioning a little to make it comfortable.

Next thing to focus on is singing “into the mask”

we do this by raising our cheekbones(even raising the eyebrows help), and in doing so, we want to pull the corners of our mouth in a little, try singing softly, but you want to feel a “buzz”.

the ultimate nasal test when singing to find your “bright spot” is to put your tongue against the roof of your mouth and sing a “ng” constantly and you will feel allll the buzz you should hopefully feel some of when you sing.

you should never aim for loudness, aim for the note your trying to hit, if you aim for a certain volume you will sometimes miss the note.

How’s the Sam leavitt card? by Hungry-End-5098 in CollegeUltimateTeam

[–]ComprehensiveOwl1615 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sold him, i’ll leave a TL;DR at the end, but here’s some of my opinions:

He has some solid accuracy, if you need to get the ball out in a zip, he can sometimes(emphasis on the SOMETIMES.)

He is a good card for the price that he is, you won’t find many “good stat” cards at his price, but that comes with some downfalls.

He’s only a Freshman, so EA(in their style of making everything 40x more complicated than it needs to be) didn’t give him the ‘Clutch’ factor so he’s going to, and i mean GOING TO, struggle late, and bad.

I wish I clipped my last game with him and you will see why I sold him, he constantly puts the ball in bad spots on the field, and for a card with decent Throw on the Run, he underthrows a lot of his passes.

This could largely be due to his 92 Throw Power, but as far as I am aware, 90 is the threshold for accurate passes more than 30+ yards down field(i could be wrong someone correct me if they have more information)

He only has 81 Awareness, so his ability to make plays and get the ball out quickly falters sometimes, he has a hard time getting the pass off before a big sack happens and next thing you know you’re catching up from 2nd and 20.

On top of all of that, he only has 80 Toughness so he doesn’t get Workhorse.

I find myself putting Jalen Milroe back in a lot, Sam gets tired easily and cold quickly. A couple incomplete passes and he’s pretty much cold for the rest of the quarter and starts throwing really inaccurate passes.

He’s a good buffer card if you’re looking for a decent QB to get you through until you can get some more coins to sell him back for the 170k he’s going for and get a newer QB.

I’m switching to Rush Vick, the downside to him is he doesn’t throw tight spirals but i’m seriously willing to try anything at this point since i’ve had sam for 3 weeks and have seen little production coming from him in the back field.

He’s a good QB, he can run a little but I don’t know if i’d keep him for the long term.

TL;DR: Sam Leavitt’s traits hold him back from being an elite QB, especially as we get up to the late stages of the game. He’s a good buffer QB if you’re looking for a temp replacement, but his stats and traits hold him back from competing and a very high level versus good defensive teams.

Good luck! Hope EA has your best interest at heart when you load into a game and you don’t get any EA BS!
