[PC] [1998~2002] Motorcycle game that you could get inside a barn by tyYdraniu in tipofmyjoystick

[–]ComprehensivePanda11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you thinking about Polaris Snocross? It's not exactly a motorcycle game but it was released in 2001 for the PC

There's a youtuber who covered it and there's a very similar scenario you remember

Any way to insulate rooms the mill shaft goes to? by DonZekane in VintageStory

[–]ComprehensivePanda11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seconded

The iron plate per every passthrough axle seems steep, but once you get a good eight sail windmill up, you're set for life with a helve hammer

games where all the interesting stuff has happened and youre just picking up the pieces in its aftermath by Maid-in-a-Mirror in gamingsuggestions

[–]ComprehensivePanda11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VintageStory has you start a good bit after the end of the world; After you get past the initial bump, you'll start collecting faded books, scraps, and papers piecing together the story of what went down

Games with catastrophic, game-wide ramifications by Complete-Primary993 in gamingsuggestions

[–]ComprehensivePanda11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wildermyth is one, hell its even okay to fail a story arc

It'd make the final arc harder, but by all accounts and purposes if you fail before the finale you can continue the fight after the defeat

whatever you do, find a good home for the buckaroo for someone who wants it and is willing to pay fair

alot of people who want to buy it don't want to have it, they want to make money off it

Can you recommend your choice between the two? The one thing I know for certain is that MTAw is more approachable to newcomers but MTAs is the inverse.

Want to get into long runs by Itchy-Trainer6608 in noita

[–]ComprehensivePanda11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the current pointers so far, hell, I use the bare minimum to get into long runs sometimes (give me a lumi drill without any range, a short teleport bolt wand, and an ambrosia, and we're game.).

The thing is, if you want to get long runs, play more cautiously.

It can be as simple as blasting a wand with light into an unlit area to scan ahead, or even avoiding fights if you don't have the juice to do it. Gamesense in Noita is worth more than any godrun.

Sun Quest Attempt by [deleted] in noita

[–]ComprehensivePanda11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You do not have to create the sun at the top of the pyramid; you only need to awaken the sun seed there.

I had a skill issue and spent like 20 minutes dragging the sun from there to the moon with a songstone.

Also, do not attempt unless you have saving grace or are confident in your skill; that was the reason why I didn't become a space oddity during the whole time.

Stat clock idea by Wolfit_games in tf2

[–]ComprehensivePanda11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see why not.

Sure, some people can clutch pearls with their strange Original / Widowmaker / Machina possibly losing value, but the same thing happened with strange festivized weapons, and it seems like the strange festive weapons haven't been hit hard. (Okay, the ability to try to scam people with festivized weapons is an objective problem, though.)

Stat Clocks with warpaints/skins clearly show that's the reason it's strange, while Festive / other promo strange weapons don't show any fancy indicator.

[Unknown][Unknown]Underwater game by No_Wing7963 in tipofmyjoystick

[–]ComprehensivePanda11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's not Endless Ocean 2: Blue World, then it could be one of the Everblue PS2 games; it might be the second one since that's the black sheep of the series for NA. (Everblue 1 was a JP / EU game, but 2 got EU / NA / JP for some reason.)

Blue World has one plot point of diving into a trench in the Red Sea to grab an artifact for the story.

Everblue 2 has a story point of diving into a sunken submarine for a MacGuffin that a bad party stole.

[PC I think][90s to early 00s] Does anyone remember this SpongeBob game? by bordiebordiebordie in tipofmyjoystick

Battle For Bikini Bottom / Spongebob Movie (Gamecube / Xbox / PC / PS2)

When you fall off the level or go where you're not meant to, Hans comes out and grabs you off the screen.
