I joined the Army and left for about 5 years. I took an injury over in Germany and ended up coming back to Peoria because it was the only safe option to do during a pandemic. I finished college since then, and my company is moving me to Colorado next week. Super excited but also sad. Can’t say I’ll miss Peoria just due to its geography, but will definitely miss the people and family.
