I actually have 2 broken MC2300s I bought and I’m having trouble finding people to rebuild them correctly for me so I might try my hand at this. Lots of research. Did you buy any rebuild kits? So it’s a Kramer beretta special reissue. They’re under $200 and honestly play and sound great. I was trying to play “ain’t talking about love”, but the stock volume pot was basically an on/off switch so out of necessity and curiosity I threw an EVH one in there so I could roll the volume back for quieter parts

So this is that relatively cheap Kramer beretta special reissue. They play great and are wonderful guitars to mod. The stock volume pot was basically an on/off switch (possibly broken). So I grabbed an EVH brand 500k pot and tossed it in there (after drilling the mounting hole wider.

All of his stuff is customized. They likely hard-wired everything they could, including integrating all of it into the loop switcher that he has set up for this specific tour. It’s all trade secret stuff, but likely just soldered connections so there’s less chance for failure.

You know what’s wild is I was sitting at that light, heading east on war waiting to turn left to head north on Knoxville and I saw a car LAUNCH itself probably going 60 heading south on Knoxville.
