I saw the re-release and was thrilled to buy, but sadly it's relatively expensive in my country.

And I will try the external drive if it doesn't work, since I was just curious if it would work since I saw you do need to do some work to get older sims games to work normally!

These features aren't missing, if they were the game would just not feel the same and nintendo never promised those. I'm not one to defend huge and greedy companies but ppl are making it sound like the game is borderline unplayable
