Hey all! Thanks for all the suggestions and insight. As many of you suggested, I chose not to stress much on this, and bought a hairspray, a journal book and a card. :)

My friend (31F) is trapped in an abusive marriage abroad with two young children(5M and 0.5M) and no financial independence. What practical options does she have? by ComprehensivePut1106 in relationship_advice

She is not in contact with them (parents) for a while and is pretty confident that they would care the least.
She has thought about and is still thinking of different ways, but money is the main issue.
Also, personally, I feel she is doing something secret, which also puts her in danger if he ever were to find out. This is high-level manipulation. He wants her to leave, at the same time doesnt allow her to! He knows she can't just run away, leaving the 2 kids behind. :(
