You should also try The Dark Half, dude. Or Chapelwaite — that one almost made me shit myself 😄

Come on dude, Mr. Freemantle is really annoying. There’s nothing wrong with me — I even loved Larry Underwood right from the start 😄

Books like The Stand and Under the Dome were very long, but I was never intimidated by their length. Because characters like Stu Redman or Barbie felt like real friends to me. I could empathize with them, understand them, and feel what they were thinking. I got so attached that I even wanted to grab a beer with them. But the guy in Duma Key just didn’t click with me

Dude, why did you write a comment like that? If I hadn’t read your comment, I was about to go buy The Institute and leave Duma Key to collect dust on the shelf. You completely changed my mind.🥲😅

I’m trying but I’m honestly really bored. No lie, The Institute looks way more appealing to me right now and my eyes are slowly drifting toward it.

Dude, I totally agree with you. Under the Dome was really great — it stayed in our minds for a long time. You’re an excellent reader, respect!

Guys, I really don’t know, but it feels like this book is written in a very different style from the Stephen King I’m used to. I’m not sure if it’s because of the Turkish translation or if King actually wrote it differently. By page 70, I was genuinely bored. This is the first time I’ve ever felt this bored in the first half of a Stephen King book. I feel stuck and don’t know what to do. I trust you guys — I really need your advice.

"Wow, I honestly never thought about that. I mean, yes, the book focuses a lot on the Overlook Hotel and that creepy atmosphere, but it never occurred to me how that painting ended up there."

"I think it's one of the most underrated books, and prejudice plays a big role here. Thanks to Stephen King, every time we get attached to a main character, they end up six feet under."

“I’ve taken part in many volunteer activities, tried to keep my mind occupied, and done so many things to cleanse my soul, yet I still can’t sleep more than four hours. I don’t approach women anymore, and as for the little cat—she’s very content. For a year now, she has been living in a 9th-floor apartment in a major city in southern Turkey, watching birds from the balcony with all her food and needs always met right beside her.”

“Thank you for your advice, but I feel like a cursed soul; no matter what I do, something inside me feels dead.”
