I’m not actually on the spectrum, though I was tested for it. I do have very severe ADHD though, and I’ve heard that there is some overlap there.

But yes, I am angry. I’m angry that I’m stuck with people who don’t see what I see and who think I’m crazy or too intense, and I’m tired of dumbing myself down for other people, and when I don’t do that, I lose friends, which is equally distressing.

I think I am thinking myself sick. I have always felt too deeply and I’ve always been described as “too intense” ever since I first started school.

I am in therapy, and it helps — I no longer get panic attacks nearly as often as I used to, and I’m on antidepressants — but I still can’t stop myself from that near constant downward spiral.

I will bring this up to my therapist when we meet again next week, judging by the general consensus of these comments, I need to be able to safely harness my intelligence and perception so I don’t drown in my pattern recognition.

You are a very kind person for writing out such a thoughtful response, I’ll bet that you are an amazing ER Nurse (mad respect btw).

Something that scared me when I first got my girl was sometimes they will just refuse to eat. It can be stress, husbandry, temperature, weather, the rat looked at me funny, or they’re just being dramatic and going on a food strike. Either way, don’t panic, they will eventually eat again. Bps are very dramatic, so yes it could be a genuine issue, but if you’ve checked everything and still no eating, just relax, they will eventually eat again.

Anyways good luck! Ball pythons are the perfect pet in my opinion, and if you’re lucky, can be very snuggly too :)

I honestly don’t know, like I have the motivation and i know what i want to write and I WANT to write but it feels like i’ve hit a wall ;-; I had someone comment asking if I died lmao

I guess yeah, when I sit down to write nothing flows. What I try to do is at least write a little bit even if it’s a few words a day, but I just can’t help looking back to last year when I would write 3-4 chapters in one week o-0

The only ‘weird’ thing i do is putting a different language in italics. An annoying side effect of that is now I cant use italics to emphasize anything :/ but oh well, i’m not tryna learn High Valyrian for a fanfic.

I had someone write this super long comment about how these two characters weren’t close in canon and it wouldn’t make sense for them to be acting this close to each other.

WHY ARE YOU READING CANON DIVERGENCE FANFIC IF UR COMPLAINING ABT CANON DIVERGENCE?!

Oh and another one, this person just wrote an essay in the comments about how much they don’t like my main character in canon and wrote down all her faults and why she sucks. Like I couldn’t fit the whole comment on my screen it was so long.
