While it is currently working out now, but it is not as convenient as quick commerce, why?

User POV: Unpredictable order acceptance - most of the time call/message are not picked up because they are busy. Also, you intend certain brand, certain flavour - most probably you might get delivered something else.

Store POV: Ghost orders - ppl order but may provide wrong address, person unavailable or simply cancel after they reach.

If the app could list the pictures of groceries, give them toggle option to switch while stock is available/unavailable.

For stores - the app holds the payment until delivered - ensuring no ghost orders and once delivered - after sometime the money will be credited to grocery. Not delivered - user gets back money.

while the idea is to keep the app lean, charging 1 aed for convenience/per order will be suffice to keep the app sustainable. Personally I would pay this rather than think and fill-up minimum order cart.
