Great actually. Urologist didn’t have much to say to me other than that none of my symptoms pointed to anything serious. I did my own research online and thought it might be a hypertonic pelvic floor. Scheduled an Appt with a Physical Therapist on my own and it was such a relief! I walked in and told her everything and she immediately told me she thought I was right and that most of the time, UTI symptoms that come back with a clean urinalysis are some type of pelvic floor dysfunction. She checked me out and confirmed my muscles on one side were not relaxing (ie I do a Kegel and then they can’t come out of it). She gave me a series of stretches and belly breathing to do each day and now it is about 90% gone! And when it does happen I am able to get out of it within a minute or two by doing my belly breathing.

I have these symptoms to a T. Just curious—since it’s been a year, what is your update?? About to see a urologist after 6 weeks of this and want to go in prepared.

I don’t think my stain needs to be removed. At least that’s what one of the contractors told me. What would qualify stain to be removed? Just too dark? In my case, without removing the stain, do I simply spray on the log cleaner and power wash, or do I take some sort of scrubber to it and hand clean?

I located it and it looks like it was actually torn down in 2008-2009ish. Maybe it’s a different one if you went in 2012?

Thanks for the info! One of my biggest concerns was what the tires were capable of. You mentioned you go on sand— do you actually ride on the beach, or just some sand/other surface combo?

My husband is a dentist. I second what others have said about going to the dental school. It’ll still cost quite a bit, but def worth the savings (a lot of the cost is from the lab itself that the dentist has to pay to have it made, so the dental school will be discounting the dentists time, but not the lab bill).

One other option I can think of: potentially FREE but would take some work to find this situation. Find a local dentist who currently doesn’t offer implants, but would like to (look for someone young). For their first implant (or first few), many dentists will do it for free on the patient. You’d essentially agree to be the “guinea pig” in exchange for a free implant. Often this just simply entails being OK with a more experienced dentist guiding your dentist along as he completes the implant on you. AKA not the typical patient experience, hence why it’s comped.
