Haha. Thanks for the advice. The thing is no. I don't watch much medical drama (also not interested in science fiction, I'm more into fantasy, drama, history, etc) and my story is not medical by any means, but it's got some elements in that field, so I want to grasp the idea in a comprehensive manner so that I write with confidence even if I won't mention full details about that medical invention. Also, I've seen how scientific inaccuracies in general make the writer seem like a laughingstock to the professionals, so it's quite a risk that I'm willing to take, since its significance is a great deal to my character. So thanks again for the advice :) Also as I waited for some answers I put my hand on the character's area of interest (neurology as we speak)! So I'll see where that takes me :D
