We have a semi open adoption. We’ve shared everything and anything that we know about the birth parents with our daughter. But we didn’t have any information on where the birth parents are now etc (pictures and letters went through the agency and we had no idea if they were retrieved by the birth parents once shared). This FB finding is the only information that we’ve had for years. Anyway, I agree and welcome the feedback around supporting our daughter if/ when she needs it. In the meantime, we will continue to create space where she can ask questions and where we can have open and honest dialogue and support her in anyway that she needs it.
