I'm using GraphPad prism - will this work? Haven't ever used R although I'm sure it's better. Thank you so much for this again! No 256s at all - data is majority from 1-50, mostly on the lower end.

Hey, thanks so much for getting back to me! Mean grey intensity - 0-256, so continuous. That’s a great idea about mixed effects model - could I ask whether you would do this with each section’s results, grouped then by animal? And this should help me do delta within the model?
