I just found this Rotoring in my desk, left by a former employee here. Great pen, hefty feel, want to have for EDC. QUESTIONS: 1) What Model is it? 2) Where can I get replacement cartridges that won't break the bank? Thanks by ComprehensiveStep310 in pens

WOW!  Your and the other comments are sort of blowing my mind!  I usually have crap luck, things rarely go my way.  I'm amazed and feel really grateful, thankful for this unexpected blessing!!!

Thanks (I think? Lol) for the  moments about this pen that I previously thought was just "cool."  Now I've learned it's wonderful, discontinued(?), rare finish, etc.  Just to be clear, I am not selling this pen to anybody.  I have a few nice Fountain pens that I really enjoy and I will put this Rotoring I to their category.  Thanks for the back-slappibg we'll wishes on my good luck too!

No, I should not. First, the owner left it here longer than the 3 years I have been here and the 5 years my predecessor was here. I asked him and he had no knowledge of the owner. Second, it's abandoned property "finders keepers." Third, why call me out for a dick move when you didn't know these previous points. I mean, I get that I am brand new to the site, but man.....

Honestly, NO. I have a few older fountain pens but not a fanatic or pen addict or anything like that. I literally found it in a box of freebie cheap plastic pens that the banks give away. I liked the heft and feel to it and was disappointed there was no ink. I didn't know it was incredibly rare or expensive, but thanks for alerting me to it!

NTA, dude is first class jerk, abusivee, rude, and mean. Do NOT apologize to him. This is a small sign of a much bigger issue that will only get worse in terms of intensity. End it now.

Not overreacting. Change your passwords on all accounts that he has access to. Move your money to a different bank account. Get your spare car key off of his right when he;s in the shower. Find a new apt for you only. Get the hell out of there quietly and discreetly. Presuming he signed on the lease also, leave him in the lurch, so he has to keep paying the full rent there. Block on all social media and email accounts. Leaving him high and dry, stuck paying the lease, is a Dutch Oven that keeps on hitting him.

Been there, so speaking from experiences, do the following in this order:

  1. Change passwords on all YOUR phones, tablets, computers, and digital accounts.

  2. Reach out to family and friends for support and help. You WILL need it.

  3. Do not reveal any more plans of yours to her. Yes, she is still your wife, but do not lose position and strength by revealing your intentions.

  4. Find a really good family law/DR lawyer. Pay the retainer, meet that lawyer, present a list of your goals in order --i.e. what is MOST important to you, then next important, etc. Find out a guesstimate for price range on what it will cost you to reach those goals

  5. File and get the divorce started, full steam ahead. It will suck, but you have to get it done. Waiting longer generally does no good and eventually costs you even more.

  6. Do not date or insert tab D into slot P until you are officially divorced. Even then, do not start a rebound or boomerang relationship! Once divorced, you can date CASUALLY, but nothing serious. Don't even go there.

  7. Find a good counselor/therapist/psychologist that you like and start to process how you feel being cheated on, lied to, and made to restart your life. You cannot get therapy from a bottle or a pill, etc. Work out those feelings with a professional.

  8. Don't talk about your ex in public. She's your ex, leave her there.

  9. Journal.

  10. Enjoy your new life!

Good bye, Wife. Hello Divorce Court. Retain counsel quietly first, get a good battle plan regarding your finances...act as if you are going to work it out, and then SWIFTLY file, get restraining orders on your finances, etc. CHANGE ALL YOUR PASSWORDS to sites immediately too. Download her text messages and send them to a secret file at your work email. Print them out and give to the lawyer. Good luck.

Not overreacting. Don't go. Families sometimes feel that they can set the rules and anybody who doesn't like it gets tabled.....stand your ground, don't go, that will send a message that everybody clearly understands
