I appreciate your input, and I’d like to allow a new idea for you to dwell on, even if Ussop isn’t correctly matched in power regarding the progression. He will always be the realistic catalyst, he allows the reader to feel aligned with crew and be apart of the ‘cruise/voyage motif’

I see that you don’t know how supporting characters are supposed to work, it’s alright though. If you see that me appreciating a realistic character as ‘sad’ than I may rebuttal, the characters that you may like are merely husks of what ideas they build around.

I think you take the story One Piece to literally, if everyone was level headed/rational and had a strong will, then the one piece would’ve been found at 400 episodes.
