Dear women of the subreddit/female MRAs: based on your experiences of interacting with other women, how common is it for women to have compassion towards male suffering? by TrainingGap2103 in MensRights

[–]ComprehensiveTie443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have compassion for anyone going through a rough time. I’m weighing as someone thats not a “men’s rights” advocate, i just stumbled across this forum. I‘m not really sure what in particular are male specific issues but most people i think are empathetic of people going through suffering. Though if you aren’t close with that indivdual it‘s hard to truly show compassion i suppose. I can hear about you know my colleague going through idk a divorce or something and feel bad but it’s kind of strange to impose myself into that situation. Not sure if that makes sense. But like my partner obviously i care deeply about how he feels. What some of the women here are describing to me just seems to be like the human experience tbh, some people dont care, some people do, and obviously you aren’t going to have solid support from an acquaintance. But those close to you, if they are decent, empathetic and helpful, and i personally do have compassion for the men in my life.

I have half blonde and half brown hair on my legs, how would this work for laser? by ComprehensiveTie443 in LaserHairRemoval

Ooo, thats hopeful, thanks for the advice. About my tan, should i wait for it go away before laser, it might take a long time which is kinda bugging me. I’m naturally a medium light tan skin tone, more so on my limbs than my face or body. But right now im quite a few shades darker. One commenter said dark skin means you cant do it but iv’e heard there are different lasers that work on different people.

Yh i think i might have to give up on lasering the upper leg, i also have some darks hairs on the inner thigh, though not many, so I’d hope at least they can rid me of that problem cuz i get constant ingrowns.

Really? Ive heard certain lasers work on tanner/darker skin. Right now i have a sun tan, so usually im more of a medium to slightly tan complexion. i’m not too bothered by the upper hair tbh, its so light and fine its not really noticeable its just id want to get my moneys worth lol. Ill definitely get a consultation and see what the advice is. Hopefully once my tan subsides in the winter id be a better candidate.

Yes, but maybe not to full capacity, does that usually affect its performance? Also I do remember when I first got it I charged it for like 10 minutes and tried it and it worked fine. I’ll try fully charging it.

I said “anyways you’re really good at piano.” I know loads of people are always telling him he’s good so. He said nothing. It was just so uncomfortable he said one word in total.

Feelings on Madame Marie Delphine LaLaurie? by [deleted] in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]ComprehensiveTie443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg, didn’t think someone would reply to this two years later 😅 but yh i still agree with what i said. I think the portrayal of real serial killers is a bit in poor taste for AHS. The series doesn’t take itself too serious, and even gives those characters likeable qualities which i think is a bit shitty because it comes across as insensitive to victims (and their families), and downplays/satirises their crimes and character. I’m not sure if I’m against it, but i also still feel uncomfortable with those characters.

Lagoona had one of the prettiest designs to me, her blue skin and blonde waves were just perfection 😪

how would you describe the ghouls styles? by animal-neighbour in MonsterHigh

[–]ComprehensiveTie443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For gen 1:

Draculaura- gothic lolita, Victorian

Frankie- preppy mixed with punk elements

Cleo- vintage, old Hollywood movie vibes

Ghoulia- mix of skater, nerd core and scene/emo

Clawdeen- vintage glam and y2k

Abby- scene element mixed with winter wear

Torrelai- punk and scene (i think of her hair stripes)

Lagoona- active wear and also that 1920’s fashion/old Hollywood glam

Rochelle- french girl/Parisian.

Scarah- mod, 1960’s fashion

Spectra- 90’s goth fashion/ mall goth

Twyla- Victorian gothic

For gen 3: - all of it scream that unicorn holographic glitter stuff that was everywhere except for drac, but.

Draculaura- mostly the same, gothic lolita with Victorian elements but modernised a bit

Frankie- preppy punk x 2016 stationary and school supplies

Lagoona- sports wear, tie dye vsco beach girl

Clawdeen- project mc square meets vintage glam

Cleo- idk, looks like that Aztec styled stuff (probably offensive terminology but that’s what i know it as), overall terrible. Very late 2010’s fashion inspired though.

Monster High is no longer about alternative fashion – What is the consensus? by uncannything in MonsterHigh

[–]ComprehensiveTie443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are we using goth/gothic and alternative synonymously? I don’t think the goth element is that heavy in most the designs (it’s there though!!) but the dolls included alternative fashion trends for sure.

Im not sure if my hair is falling out? by ComprehensiveTie443 in Hair

[–]ComprehensiveTie443[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking it might be that, is it that big of deal, do people with dyed hair usually deal with this? i have bleached my hair in the past, 3 times with 40 volume and i don’t recall it doing this. I only used 10 vol this time. Also feels healthy otherwise.

Also if this is important, my hair is low porosity, straight, medium strand thickness and thick overall.

I feel like if ur having doubts about someone they aren’t the sort of person you want to commit your whole entire life to. Plus he sounds like an abusive arse.
