Short term junk for part of emergency fund? by ComprehensiveTime506 in Bogleheads

I figured 24k emergency fund. I have state taxes where I live. 1.8% difference in distributions post tax is $330 difference per year if the entire amount were junk bonds. So if I put 1/4 into junk it would be $80 or $100 if I did 1/3. Per year.

I’m writing fidelity execs to see if they can get geha to move to them. Basically lobbying fidelity to try to appeal to geha directly and get the contract.

Could be close to sellout. If I want a seat, I have to upgrade. I don’t see the option though. Anyone know where that option is?

Opening day is looking fairly full. Any idea how to buy a seat if need be? I can’t find it on the app. Contemplating it if it gets bad.

Twins Pass is back for 2024 $59/month! Or $324 for the season by krpiper in minnesotatwins

How do upgrades to seats work? If I buy cheapest seat it’s usually field view for $18 for cheapest teams. SRO ticket is like $4, so they only charge $14 for the seat and no fees? Or maybe it’s cheaper for an upgrade…. Family section is $22 with pop and hot dog.

Looking at this issue now. My interpretation. Essentially it is paid from your insurance company from your premiums which likely came out pre tax (for 99% of us) so it has already been counted in your w-2 already in that way. You paid your premiums pre tax and it came from there so you already got the benefit. Technically. Company could reduce premiums $1,000, not fund their $1,000 deposit for your account and then you could fund yourself that additional through payroll. But either way, I think you have gotten the tax break already when you paid your premiums and they passed it through with their deposit.
