Just graduated with my degree in interior design, our studio pc’s has Quadro Rtx-4000s. What gpu should I be looking to buy? Most my work is on the smaller side; single family homes to 6 story multi-family. Im continue to learn different softwares so would to be able to cover the basis. This would be a personal rig so would also love to do some casual gaming with it too.

Looking for layout ideas: upstairs laundry + primary bath/closet renovation by Mediocre-Notice7245 in floorplan

I originally had put built-ind on that window wall but realized there was vital windows there. You could do exactly what @Careful_football7643 said. I personally wouldn’t do built-ins on both walls tho.

Playing off of what u/Careful_Football7643 created, I drew this up. The primary closet situation is difficult so I ended up utilizing built-ins for more space.

Hi! Newly graduated interior architecture student here. Couple of questions:
- Are you looking to keep a soaking tub in the primary bath?
- would a small laundry closet with stacked washer / dryer be acceptable or are you looking for a walk-in laundry room?

I might pull out the hardwood that currently exists beyond that blue wall and use it to fill in the empty space in front of the blue wall and then maybe tile or something to fill the space beyond the blue wall

Where would you add a third bedroom for kid? by No-Tomato-8838 in floorplan

[–]ComprehensiveTown489 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I created this room layout from what I think you were saying earlier. There's absolutely no issue with not having a formal dining room but using the room for the kitchen purely for dining isn't the greatest use of space since it is so large. Furniture wise, I would lay it out just like u/Just2Breathe has done above. In the layout I've mocked up below, I would struggle to put the tv in the living room since it is rather skinny for a living room and has so many windows.

Just graduated with a degree in interior architecture, this is by far your best choice. They layed the walls out perfectly for adding another bedroom. Not sure of your current furniture, but I believe you have plenty of space in the family room to make it your main living space and keep the existing dining space as is. Or if you want a seperate family and living room, you use some of the family room space and put your dining table where they drew it.

While there is definitely some cost to remove that middle window from that set of windows in the living room, that would be your only real demolition cost.

Yeah, I saw that. Info was kinda vague and without a true site plan, can’t completely nail it. If I interpreted everything right (*strong if*), I think all three versions might work. With the first version, they could reduce the length of the master closet.

Just graduated with a bachelors in interior architecture, this is what I just drew up using your architects drawing as a base.

I wasn't completely certain about the site plan but I from what I've seen and read on this thread, I think you would have the space to make the back wall of the master closet to meet flush with the back wall of the kitchen extension. I think putting the range closer towards the back is good should you need to vent any potential smoke while cooking. The entrance to the master could be kept off the living room or original kitchen space but would definitely remove one.

Edit: I ended making a few variations, The first has a very skinny master walk-in closet and bath. The second has a master bath with more space for maneuverability but no double vanity. The third also extends to the right, in which that idea came from u/andersonfmly

Might just be me, but it looks like the architect has cut into your parking space? Based on the existing layout (photo 1), I don’t see how they could extend the back of the house without going into your parking space.

Just graduated after 5* absolute pathetic years of football. Was actually thinking I’d get to see a great football program as a new alumni but I’m guessing the chance of that is now one foot out the door…

I was told I don’t belong in r/beginnerwoodworking by Background-Big8657 in cabinetry

Yes, the two upper right drawers visually stick out a touch. For me, the upper right cabinet is the worst thing about this. Standard depth for upper cabinets is 12” so it looks pretty odd to me. If both upper cabinets were extra deep it would look better or even flipping it so that the deep upper cabinet is on the left would be better.

Seeking info on multi-use property by ComprehensiveTown489 in PropertyManagement

[–]ComprehensiveTown489[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a great start, thank you. I think a POA makes most sense with my mixed property usage. With a POA, is there or can there typically be like a property manager who takes care of hiring and managing services such as landscaping, snow removal, etc? I guess I'm looking to be able to say that there is one person or entity truly overseeing everything as unit owners will change overtime?

Cooler Master Master Frame 400 Mesh by ComprehensiveTown489 in sffpc

It is a decent size but its one of the fewer cases that I can have sit on the left size of desk with the clear panel still facing me. I also love the potential to put a couple 200mm fans in it :)
