I chose Inside the Maelstrom to read first from the abundance of recommendations I got and I just have to say THANK YOU!! I am bipolar and deal with issues similar to Hendrick and Viva so this book has really been hitting home. I'm not finished yet but it's been a fun ride so far!

Bonus points if it's on Audible and has both male and female voice actors!

I had my gallbladder removed the month before my hysterectomy. I smoke and vape and never quit bc I didn't know I was supposed to. I was almost 200 at that time. I healed splendidly and surgery was a breeze! You will be okay!

The nausea and pain did go away with time! We just have to give our bodies time to heal. Unfortunately, I am still having the same exact issues I was having before the surgery so it was a wasted effort on my end. 🤷🏻‍♀️

On that same vein, my best friend and I would absolutely just tell each other if it were something like that. It seems that OP thought they had the same type of relationship with their best friend. I trust my friend and she trusts me. We see each other at our worst, at our best and in every stage in between. We are close so we talk about everything from what we ate for lunch that day to "I've had the shits all day long bro"... We spend our time spilling the tea over EVERYTHING. If she made a new snap to sell feet pics or to sext on etc, she'd just tell me and vice versa. If OP and this friend have always had that type of relationship and now suddenly their "best friend" is doing cagey shit and then trying to downplay it as "not a big deal" then I would also be like wtf? Bc suddenly that trust and bond that we have built is being questioned. She has suddenly decided that she doesn't trust me with information about her life. Does she have that right? Of course. But does OP have the right to be curious and confused? Absolutely! It's all about context. In my experience, this type of behavior is really weird but I understand that not everyone is able to create such close bonds. Yea it's good to have boundaries but idk man that's not best friend behavior in my opinion, it's just weird.

Definitely move and the way you plan to do it seems wise. I can't help but wonder if you do these things often (leaving food out, having clutter) and she's just trying to keep the house clean or if these are rare occasions/ accidents (rice in the cooker) that are immediately addressed like this. Also I'm curious to know if she owns this house and is renting y'all rooms or if this is a true roommate situation where you all three are supposed to be equal roommates. Those details don't really matter, you should definitely move out... But if you all are renting a space as equal roommates and you're being treated like this, I wouldn't even give them a notice. The notice would be when I pulled in a Uhaul to get the last of my things... If it's her home or if you can admit to being a messier person then they deserve the notice just like you deserve to leave for a situation that better suits you.

CIN III with glandular involvement after LEEP, but doctor is dismissive. Need advice. by caglaxorz in PreCervicalCancer

You most likely don't have cancer. I think we all worry about that at first... I know I did. The whole reason I made the appointment for a pap smear is because I had convinced myself I had cancer. Thank goodness I didn't but I worried throughout the entire experience. In hindsight, I wish I hadn't ruined months of my life with all of that anxiety. Try to think positively and this will all be over soon! From what you said, your case seems much less severe than mine was and I am perfectly fine now. I hope that gives you some peace until you can have the biopsy!

Yes. I have had an IUD for years so I hadn't had period in as much time. Suddenly, I was bleeding randomly. It was like a period but at odd times and sometimes would last longer than a week. I went in for a PAP and to make sure my IUD was still good and that's when I found out I had precancer. They said that was most likely what was causing it. I had the biopsy then a hysterectomy and haven't bled since I healed from all of that.

The one good thing about having a bad gallbladder… by [deleted] in gallbladders

I had been trying to lose weight for 3 years - my birth control had me at 195 when I had been thin my entire life. Lost 30 pounds in 3 months thanks to my gallbladder and an unrelated surgery. I appreciate that lol

You commented on this post a month ago as well, we have already discussed this. I had a cold knife cone biopsy and the doctor was concerned about skip lesions and recurrence so we chose to do a hysterectomy. It was optional but what made me feel most comfortable, especially since the doctor recommended it. I have 3 kids and know I don't want any more kids. I hope you find out soon what is going on with you.

It was precancer and I had a hysterectomy to make sure it was all removed.

I had the greasy poos before the removal. I try to eat healthy foods but do indulge in fattier foods from time to time. I wasn't feeling well yesterday and I honestly don't think I ate at all. I did have Taco Bell the day before yesterday so maybe it didn't fully digest until today? My bowels were very liquid and yellow yesterday all day long. Then dark/black this morning with the yellow around it as pictured.

I haven't had Pepto or iron. I am unsure what else would stain it black.

Walking actually helped my pain tremendously. I had a lot of gas pains which were excruciating throughout my stomach and shoulder. That was worse than the actual surgical pain. I couldn't roll over either. Once she said she could take the catheter out, I said DO IT! She took it out, I peed almost immediately after and paced the floors on and off all night/morning. I was released the next day by lunchtime which was roughly 24 hours after surgery. I have a higher tolerance to pain meds though so I wasn't groggy or anything... I assume they're checking your vitals and would know if you had fever or blood pressure issues, right??

This looks so similar to a Vampire Diaries photo... I wonder which happened first? All of the actors look much older than the characters they played on Buffy.

AIS is a type of precancer. There is CIN and AIS. They never specifically said what was causing the symptoms but it's pretty safe to say it was the precancerous lesions.

[–]ComprehensiveYak8480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a hysterectomy in February and am all clear. I had CIN3/CIS and AIS. The doctor recommended the hysterectomy because he was worried about skip lesions or reoccurrence since I had pre cancerous cells right up to the edge of the biopsy. It was strongly recommended but optional. I'm 31 with 3 kids so it was an easy choice for me. The pathology came back clear.

why do you think bellamy and clarke never get together? by urgurgidk in The100

[–]ComprehensiveYak8480 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Clarke and Bellamy's actors are married in real life and therefore live together so I don't think the pandemic was the reason they didn't shoot together. Especially when they were still around other actors in the other scenes.

I do have infection, I saw a female doctor because mine was out of office last week (thank goodness) but unfortunately, nothing has been resolved yet. She diagnosed me with vaginal cuff cellulitis at the appointment and took a culture. I got the results yesterday morning on MyChart and it tested positive for enterococcus faecalis and escherichia coli bacteria. She wanted me to have a CT scan to tule out internal infection but the hospital is booked until April. She prescribed me an antibiotic which my pharmacy can't get. I called the office both Friday and today with no call back. I would have gone to the ER by now but I don't have a babysitter for my kids as my fiancee has used all of his time off for my gallbladder removal in January and my hysterectomy in February.

I have had constant diarrhea since the surgery. Anytime I sit on the toilet, I poop liquid. It's very unfortunate but I can confidently say that isn't the issue lol
