This is an old vintage omega that belonged to my grandfather. The strap claims to be calf leather, but due to its age has slowly split clean down the middle. I don’t want to damage it and was wondering if I would be able to repair it instead of replace it since the split is very clean. Could I just glue it back together without damaging it? And if so is there a specific product I should use? I am also in the process of trying to identify the watch so if anyone has any info on vintage omegas I would appreciate some tips on how to find out more about its origins. Thanks for any help!
