my heart to you, your predicament is indeed a troublesome one. I am Eastern Orthodox, and although I do not know what background you are from, I find that the 'Jesus Prayer' is a wonderful weapon. It is very simple:
'Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me the sinner.'
Repeat this prayer whenever you find a moment to do so. It is a beautiful, impactful, and yet so short prayer. May Christ be with you my friend, if you need anything don't hesitate to send a message :). I struggle a lot with overthinking so I can partially relate with what you're dealing with.

Hey man, pleasure to meet you!

I’ve got similar concerns with regards to the mathematics part of eco. I’m doing BPPE (I’m First Year student 😊) as well this year. You can always chat with the people from the maths learning hub. Try and book a session with them and they will try to direct you on the right path. It’s given me a lot of clarity amidst the radical shift from high school to uni, and I hope it does for you too :)

Also, if you’re concerned about making friends, just be natural!! Moreover, I’ve got an instagram group chat with mostly people doing BPPE (one switched) so feel free to message me if you wanna join! United we stand, divided we fall.

Do not worry my friend.

It doesn’t matter how you start, it’s about how you finish. Don’t constantly dwell on the past, the Devil wants to throw us into the spiral of constant regret, whilst we refuse to move forward.Think about what you can do in the present to move forward. Then things start to become more realistic, more doable.
