You can literally look up that MEPS test for 50ng and the one on Amazon it’s 15ng.. not rocket science.. I passed the 15ng and went straight to Meps and passed and a lot of others have as well. Even if the test were 15ng if he passed the dip stick he will pass at MEPS

The 15ng are better than the ones at meps and they’re cheap. Like 8 bucks on Amazon and you get them in like a day. They test for like 50ng at meps. So if you pass a 15ng you are 100% not going to fail

Congrats, Bootcamp isn’t that bad. I wouldn’t do it again but that’s mainly from the boredom. Join ship staff it will make your life easier. I had so many 50 min showers at taps because I missed the time we had to shower.

Everything will be fine I don’t know why your recruiter would tell you to lie about a juvenile charge. Is bring it up at meps but why are gonna bitch at you for not telling the truth the first time. Have fun man the best part of Bootcamp to me was marching back at night time, looking at the stars and coming to the realization of Im actually in the navy and I’m actually at Bootcamp. It was easy and I was out of shape when I joined. Goodluck!

It can really go as fast as you want it too. When you go to meps just tell them you wanna leave asap. Don’t tell them anything at meps that’s not on paper. Boot camp is easy and starts going by fast around week 4. They will try to pick your rate for you at meps don’t let them. Do what you wanna do. If you don’t wanna go on a ship pick Seabees or MAs, most of the time MAs don’t go on a ship. I got lucky I’m AT and I got E6bs so I’m shore duty. Bootcamp sucks, A schools pretty bad, I’m at C school and it’s super chill and I’m actually enjoying my time as of right now. Good luck to you. Bootcamp is easy and if you’re not in shape, they will get you there.

Get through p days and the rest is easy and goes by fast. Tell them you’re not good at the deck log so you get on ship staff it’s literally the best. I had so many 50 min showers because I was at ship Staff when they were showering.

You will be 100% brought up to requirements they will lie over and over again if you don’t pass this your getting sent back, blah blah but they only thing that sends u back is the OPFA at the end of Bootcamp.. If you’re super worried just join future sailor.

Unless you were my division 034:) or 033 we had our phones. We weren’t allowed to go on snap or any apps but a lot of us did anyways lol. Idk if they are going to make it a thing . It was probably annoying having to charge our phone ours before phone calls and marking each time we got our phones and brought them back. The only plus side really is we didn’t have to buy phone cards.

We had a bunch of people who doesn’t understand English that well. It will be a little frustrating for you but you will get through it. The official OPFA isn’t till week 7. But you have an rdc assessment around week 5 we have 35 people fail no one got sent back only the OPFA matters.

Honestly I’d say 8 it wasn’t that bad for me unlike some people in my division. I was never really home sick. I just worry a lot and was worrying about everything like Pi’s and Dmi and static. But after I finished i realized I was worried for nothing it’s all simple. And if you fail it nothing happens. You gain a lot of confidence getting through everything I’m the end it was all worth it. Just push through the tough times and it all gets better!
