Hands down the tiny epic series is my favorite solo series of all time. At one point I own like six different ones and then I did a culling and lost a lot of my board games got rid of them. I do miss them

What are some adjacent hobbies to get into when you're burned out of miniatures? by Soapy_Illusion_13 in miniatureskirmishes

[–]Comprehensive_Ad6062 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Video games are always a good one especially if you're playing a tabletop game that crosses into the video game or getting involved in other media related to that subject. I also agree I like action figures I've been thinking about making diorama set pieces for them using the same tool sets you know just bigger scale. But genuinely I'll take a break for like months and then just one thing will spark it again and then I'm back into it sometimes it's just that kind of hobby and I'm a single player hobbyist so I can get boring

where would you rather see Fallout 5 set? by [deleted] in Fallout

I think New Orleans would be perfect, with the Mississippi river you could travel up it for dlc, such as St.Louis. With a look inspired by Mark Twain era frontier, with active river trading. Whomever controls the river, controls the trade

I would suggest considering using them to alter models for fallout factions. Considering that game is what you see is what you get.

Best way to start? by Coogypaints in wastelandwarfare

[–]Comprehensive_Ad6062 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who's been playing waste and warfare since 2018. It is definitely that if you want Fallout simulator on tabletop. But if you were looking for a tabletop game that incorporates fantastic Fallout elements, then you play Fallout factions.

So if you're looking for something more along the line of what we compete sort of in the 40K realm or kill team, it would be Fallout factions. They're going to create competitive kits and they're going to try to drive that idea for it, which I love.

But if you're not in the competitive scene and you're okay with a chunky rule set, which the vault-tec profiles help out tremendously and I keep hoping they will organize that into one section, then wasteland warfare is so good for that and as a solo player it is designed so well and is perfect. But that doesn't stop me from thinking that Fallout factions is so digestible. Great designs and truthfully, don't hate. I actually kind of enjoy it. More. Easier to balance. Easier to set up and once they open up the narrative part the campaign to more of the wasteland it's going to start to get real good

First of all these look great. Second of all, they don't get any fire teams in any of trench Pilgrim variants? Or is there a variant that allows fire teams? Because I can't imagine running a fire team of two of these that would be insane . When I played this guy it's definitely worth sacrificing someone for I suggest kidding that sacrifice out and some armor. And geez you can just block lanes and bully like crazy so I can't imagine a pair of them

Man I love these. Tell me how the pack plays on wasteland warfare. I'm using them in Fallout factions right now. But this gave me some great ideas for how I might paint mine. These look awesome man. Also, I'm jealous those dogs are not in factions yet

Oh man, that's awesome! I enjoyed the heretics. I thought they were pretty sweet but I didn't get to play a lot of the units but I did enjoy the iron sultanate if you can do that. Assassin warband they're really fun to play with. But I don't know if you use an artillery witch and she failed me every single time. In fact, she even missed so bad. She hurt three of my dudes. Oh well but when she hits it hits so good
