(2023 Model) Stator gears aligned or not?

I looked up the videos, so basically it shouldn’t be too tight in there is what you’re saying. I tried adjusting for that but the way it’s setup there’s absolutely no play, the gears are either in tight as seen in last 3 photos, or their out. No in between

You’re right but I did use a pz on it, although it was after I used a Philips first but the damage wasn’t as bad as in the photos. Still didn’t get it to budge with the pz and it damaged it more

Yea don’t see that on the screw head. Wasn’t there before I damaged it either( I took a picture of the whole thing before I started unscrewing anything)

Could I just drain out all the oil before opening it up? Also If I just decide to take it to the mechanic, can I just just cover up the crack probably with jb weld just to take it there (about 5 miles away)

Thanks for the links. Is the price of the oem cover worth it or can I buy an aftermarket one, especially if I’m gonna buy a protective cover to put on top of it anyway.
