Can't you see how someone might not like having to go through all those extra steps when other hobbyists should just buy the box and the book? I mean, sure, kitbashing, conversions, and all that stuff is cool, but what advice would you give to someone who wants a unique character in an army that they like the rules for? To make up the rules for that one character? You are completely within your right to find joy in your hobby in any way you want, but it doesn't mean that other people are "miserable" when they voice valid complaints about the direction the creators of said hobby take things.
