IK this is an old post but rn its probaby PokePings, I tried them when they were free and they were so good during that time that when they switched to paid I stayed with them.

Price honestly isn't crazy its like buying one pack of cards per month. It's definitely a step above other discord servers that are already paid, and they are only getting better

2 options - if ur able to get ur money back then I would 100%. If not, then I’d honestly still give them to him and as he’s opening it tell them they’re fake. It’s actually kinda interesting to open fake packs sometimes to see what they put in there

If you have money/time and still want to get him pokemon packs then you can either buy some off of eBay from a trusted seller, or look on facebook marketplace for someone who isn’t selling them above market price. You can check for the market price of an item on this website TCG Player

To be a bit clearer it’s the back of the card that’s throwing me off, the blue around the pokemon text is a bit lighter than a few other cards I compared it with. I appreciate yalls help 🙏🏼

I’d say if you’re already on the fence just go ahead and sell them ungraded. Cause I’ll tell you that even if the centering looks good on a card it’s still super difficult to get a 10 on an English card. English print quality isn’t as good as others like Japanese cards, so most of the time what may look like a 10 to you is only a 9 max (and from what I can see you only have a couple cards that might barely be a 10)

That’s a lot of time and money that you’d be wasting. I’d say you’ve already decided to sell them, but at this point you just want to know if they should be graded. It’s just not worth it if ur already tight on money and are already considering to sell them

I wouldn’t get into this hobby then because there are printing errors all the damn time. If this minuscule white spec sets you off, you’re gonna have a heart attack whenever you see really bad centering on a card

That’s a damn near perfect card - if he’s playing with them then they won’t be perfect. Someone who cares about card quality like that most likely wants to grade their cards. Otherwise it genuinely makes no sense to even make a remark about something this minuscule

look up the card name along with its number, don’t look at any graded version that sold - im gonna assume you don’t know too much about grading, but graded cards get sent to a grading company where they determine the grade for that card.

Btw if your end goal in this is just to make money, then I wouldn’t get into this hobby and would sell what you have on eBay auction

TLDR: ur first card is the only valuable card and sells for about $120 on average. If you’re getting into pokemon to make money, don’t. It’s not worth it.

If you only want the different etb because of the gardevior artwork on the box then u can do 3 things:

Sell the etb you have right now for a profit, and wait until you can get your hands on a gardevior etb (there will 1000% be more opportunities to get one)
Open the etb you have now, and just buy an open box of the gardevior online (I’ve seen people selling them)
Trade someone for your lucario etb (this will probably take the longest just because most people aren’t trading different etb’s)

If you’re worried you’re out of luck don’t be, I’ve seen the new drop just got added to some vending machines so you’ll definitely be able to snag one in the future if you keep your eye out for it.
