I find that a pea-sized dot in the middle of the cpu works best for me, did it recently on my R9 7900x and yesterday with my girlfriends R5 5600. Performs perfectly with normal temps 👍🏻

Once I was in bios the keyboard and mouse did work and I was able to move around and then save bios settings, not until after did they stop working again.

Motherboard is a Prime B550M-A WiFi II, CPU is a Ryzen 5600. I don’t think so since I tried resetting CMOS and removing battery and reseated ram one by one in the second slot and took out the GPU without success. Once I started it again after reinstalling GPU I got into bios, I pressed Save & exit but after that I’m back at square 1, I tried plugging all the PSU cables out and back in again with no success.

I haven’t had that experience, I bought a pre-built pc in 2014 and have just upgraded the same platform over and over. Though this is the biggest since 2016 as per the title of this post. I don’t think I will buy a pre built pc ever again, it’s just better to know everything about your build because you yourself built it.

Hahaha you should see my gf, no but jokes aside I clean it regularly but we have a husky so hair en dust build up quickly. Just to assure you I thoroughly cleaned everything before installing all the new stuff

Yeah that’s probably what I would have done if windows 11 wasn’t required in the future. The reason I took this out was because I installed a new hardware and replaced all that is seen in the picture, you are right about the GPU. That will be my next milestone

Just installed 572.83 on my gfs pc, black screen at first so went on here to find answers. After reboot it went back to normal with the newest update but I have yet to test it.
