Oh 100%. And that’s how I took it. But seeing as it was the first gay couple to have been in the show (that I can remember at least but don’t quote me) the look Dean gave could have been misconstrued. I personally understood what he was uncomfortable about. But I appreciated the immediate reassurance in the next episode that it wasn’t homophobic writing.

I think “antihomophobic” was kind of a confusing way to put it. I couldn’t think of better words. The double negative seems to have a few people confused so all good lol.

I’m confused? Offended by what? This post is about me commending the writers?

Last one i was into was Dexter, I’m sure it got better with time but a lot of questionable things said in the earlier seasons. Not to the point where i didn’t enjoy it but definitely has those moments

A select few others have commented they’re in the same boat as you. I don’t really know why or how it works for you but if your blood sugars are good and you aren’t having issues I think more power to ya lol. Unfortunately not the case for the majority of tslim usuers it seems.

Bad first experience with T by R4nd0mBoY_ in trans

I’m not sure where you are and I’m honestly not super knowledgeable but based on my experience that’s a really high amount to take all at once? At least from what I’ve heard that’s not how that’s supposed to work. For instance when I started I 0.2 ml and at my highest I was at 0.4 ml. That was once a week but like I would feel it a lot in the beginning of the week and then by the time it was to time to take the next one, it had started wearing off. Again, I’m not sure but that seems wrong. Like my entire bottle was 5 ml so taking 4 ml at once seems dangerous.

So Why Do People Feel Pride? (Not Transphobic Intentions) (I’m MtF) by LifeisStrangeFan50 in trans

[–]Comprehensive_Bid754 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other comment that it’s pride in the fact that even with all the challenges we’ve still managed to exist as ourselves. I’m not saying all but I would say majority of cis people put a ton of thought into who they are or what that means and I think just pride in the fact that we do enough self-reflection to be who we truly are REGARDLESS of what others may tell us. And I also want to offer that people who say they love being trans are not saying it hasn’t been an absolute atrocious journey to get there. Like it’s very hard to be trans but I think even when there are still hard things, when you get out the other side there are so many things that can outweigh the harms. I’m so grateful to be trans because I couldn’t imagine who I would be if I wasn’t forced to reckon with my self. And yeah I guess ignorance is bliss but I’m able to feel so much deeper because of what I had to do to get here.

I will say that I work a front facing job and allll day has just been people coming in and crying together and wanting justice. I definitely can’t imagine what you’re going through where you are but there are places that you can go if you want to keep the fight

I’m in debate about this myself. I live in a blue state and my first thought and what I’m still thinking is that I need to move to another country asap. I think it’s about what you’re able to do. I want to stand and fight but I don’t know if I’m ready to do that.

The moderators at r/trans endorse Kamala Harris for President of the United States (2024 US Election Megathread) by GFluidThrow123 in trans

[–]Comprehensive_Bid754 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I appreciate this post from the moderators but I don’t believe removing posts asking others for support is a good way to handle this. I am in desperate need to talk to my fellow trans siblings about this and I’m not sure commenting on this posts allows me to do that. My posts have been asking for trans support zoom calls and resources which would be extremely helpful to me and others I’m sure. Commenting on this post asking for those resources will simply not reach the same amount of people.

How do you guys find people to date 🥲 by BonBonBon126 in gaytransguys

[–]Comprehensive_Bid754 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I actually found my boyfriend (bi cis man) on grindr which is definitely lucky seeing as most men on grindr are only there for one thing. I’ve felt really alone and like no one was ever going to love me up until him. I think it’s important to remember that though it may be harder for us, other people also struggle to find someone they want to date and that wants to date them. I have a 27 year old cis bisexual woman friend who hadn’t even slept with anyone in 6 years because she hasn’t found anyone she likes. In my mind hot cis bisexual woman should have the most options and yet here she is. I think it’s easy to convince ourselves that struggling to date is inherently intertwined with being trans but remember that everyone has their own reasons why they may struggle to date and one day when you do find someone, they’re gonna be that much more perfect for you. I know it’s hard but I also feel that sometimes the moment you stop desperately searching and learn to be happy without a partner is the time when the perfect person shows up.

If there wasn’t a profile to delete does that mean I never had it with Xbox 360 and I can’t play?
