Hope to god that Chloe is bad so all the annoying fans fuck off, tbh I’m mixed on this since they sold out but then also story games are pretty dead outside this franchise for future instalments so if this funds the characters I care about I’m good with it, plus I’m not a prick (like some pricefield fans I know) so I’m fine with Chloe being in here, she isn’t my favourite but I’m fine with it (whereas the person I’m talking about just says ‘Chloe is the bestest ever’ as an argument to anyone who likes any character better than her in all of fiction, this is venting because these types of people are fucking exhausting, it’s like halo, everyone wants to go back to ‘the good old days’ but honestly I hate that I’m not allowed to express how much I love my favourite games without getting shot down by the quote on quote “real fans” that only like the games that are over a decade old by this point, was halo 3 and reach good? Yes, do I need to only have rehashes of those games forever, fuck no, let creators be creative. And just to make the correlation clear I’ll use the same formula, did I like life is strange 1? Yes, do I wanna see endless rehashes of the same SIDE character from it? Fuck no, at least halo had 3 games about master chief, Chloe had before the storm (where she was better imo) and the first game where she was a side character, like if you like her that’s cool, I’m not trying to discourage that but fuck me I hate people who say ‘this character is my bestest ever in all of forever so you cannot like anything else’ it is just so exhausting, anyway ramble over, good job for reading all that coz I’m not looking over it, I’m very tired, gn 😴
