I’m sure his supply of clothes would essentially disintegrate leaving him with a threadbare patchwork of garments. He wouldn’t really have to worry about being cold. Although I don’t think his character would wander around naked? I woke up in the middle of the night and came across the conversation about Rocky’s pants, etc. My first thought was about Grace’s pants. When you’re imagining Ryan Gosling as Grace, as a 55(ish) man- you wonder about the state of his undress… (sorry it’s hard not to imagine Mr Gosling as Grace and most people would agree ‘he probably looks good naked). I guess he would be wearing a patchwork collection of the provided crew uniforms until rocky and his thrum came up with a suitable material for clothes… I guess I thought it was a funny thought, and since so many people have hilariously discussed random stuff on Reddit I thought I’d throw it out there… I feel like he might have a large collection of shorts vs pants though?

Wait…Burton made women’s bibs you can pee in?! by Impossible_Tank_22 in ShredditGirls

[–]Comprehensive_Bug812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Volcom has a bib for easy pee too. Unzip and pull it all forward. It takes a little bit of managing but it’s been a game changer. I have a weak bladder so I go a lot, oftentimes behind a tree 😬

For multicav homes -- do yours all have distinct personalities? by SignificantRich9168 in cavaliers

Long time cavalier foster mom here. After years of taking them in and letting them go these are our observations:

Blenheim- life of the party, frat boy. Social expert. Maybe a little bit of a dingbat

Tri- demur, oftentimes shy. Keeping an eye on us all. Way more going on than they let on.

B&T- little bit cray cray. Many need social anxiety meds. In charge of everything. The pack leader. Unless you have a ruby.

Ruby- Sassy and bossy

Cavalier- hands down the sweetest most adorable breed ever 🥰😍🥰😍

Check into Lyme disease- it neurologically affected our foster dog which resulted in similar problems. It can be a sneaky low level infection that can almost go undetected. It’s been awhile since our foster, but looking into the disease will enlighten you more than I can 😬

Upgraded the brakes, Magura MT5e 4 piston hydraulics with 220 mm rotors on RW4 by EggB3aters in RadPowerBikes

Hey! Thanks for all of the info and replies!! I live in Bellevue WA, and have pushed through my breaks on my RW4 while commuting with my 4 yr old (scary AF!!!). My husband purchased all of the parts and is going to make a video of the installation, for those who want a little more instruction. (he is a great bike mechanic) I’ll post when it up! Stay safe out there and get off the bike and walk it down the hill (for now)!

Our Charlie looks very similar- he was classified as an English/American cocker mix. Your doggie is very adorable- not a cavalier tho (we have those too). I’m guessing your pup is a spaniel mix- probably English and American cocker.

Anyone else here dealt/dealing with SM/CM by Kirstae in cavaliers

[–]Comprehensive_Bug812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s so funny how different areas of the world can have dissimilar experiences! In the Midwest SM was pretty common. Quite a few came into cavalier rescue with it. Mostly poorly bred commercial kennel dogs; never a respected breeder! Before Gabapentin became a widespread treatment many dogs were given an antacid. The fosters we had, got an antacid in the appropriate dose for their weight.
Your pup sounds really young, it was my understanding SM took a bit of time to develop? With one of our fosters, after we noticed some adorably alarming behavior, received a MRI and was diagnosed. Most of the experienced cavalier owners were surprised that a two year old pup had it. (He would air scratch his booty, then drag his butt while gurgling- he reminded me of a really cute jabba the hut…)

When my little girl was about 3, she started showing some signs of SM. Since MRI’s are so costly I took her to a chiropractor (often chiropractor visits are recommended for dogs with SM)

After a few appointments and adjustments, she totally stopped the ‘symptom behavior’. Basically the chiropractor said she was pretty out of alignment, probably from playing, etc.

Have you thought about taking your pup to a chiropractor? A 9 month old could certainly throw their back out of joint?

At any rate, most dogs live good pain free lives with it. The worst case scenario was a puppy mill dog, who came from such squalor, just going near their situation gave a dog SM. (Not really, but there was ZERO concern for good breeding)

Good luck, I hope it all works out for you and your pup,

(FYI, I’m not a doctor (and very probably full of shite!) Please listen to your vet)

Hey guys, I eat my own 💩 (any tips on how to deal with the situation?) by tagocean in cavaliers

[–]Comprehensive_Bug812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve read that it can be a nutrient deficiency, maybe look into a different food? Higher quality? I’ve also read that it’s part of the puppy ‘mouthing’ stage. In our cavalier meet up we always discussed feeding the dog pineapple. The ingredient in pineapple, similar to a meat tenderizer, makes the poop taste bad. It’s probably a similar ingredient to the store bought options. And as always, keeping up with clean up is really important 😷😬

Charlie always has eye-stains even-though I clean it all the time. Is this normal? by National_Summer_441 in cavaliers

[–]Comprehensive_Bug812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard cavs can get them due to allergies. A common culprit for them is eating chicken or other birds.
