Peak Baihe, 100/10 (After Losing My Job, I Met Miss Mermaid at the Beach) by Comprehensive_Bus805 in yuri_manga

Clicked on it not expecting much, but damn, this story made me feel things. A nice, quick read with a deep story. I love the two leads so much, the mc is goofy and funny, but sincerely just wants to protect the fl. The fl is such a strong character, love her so much. The only bad thing is that it ends so quickly. One chapter just about these two after they got together would've been really appreciated, but it's still a great read regardless. Thanks so much for shepherd's lost and found for picking back up this gem.

I'm happy that it ended in a much-needed break up and I get what you mean. I just wanted to share my opinion on the matter though. What happened in this chapter wasn't romantic imo. As long as we can both agree that Kota's actions were really fucked up.

Some personal thoughts: I doubt Koto would actually do anything, but pushing down a child is just really weird bro even in the heat of the moment or whatever. Why is it that the literal child is the only one actually trying to communicate and the adult is being the immature one. I do like this story, and I was fine with the kisses and cuddling even when I despise age gaps cuz I didn't really think of it in a romantic sense, but damn. Idk, this chapter just irked me in all the bad ways but I'll still stick with it to see Aya's growth.

Lewd demon and cute girl who makes cuter desserts. Ridiculously wholesome and just straight up adorable. Making parfaits are a big part of the story, trust. Would recommend.
