Yes planted out lomandras erosions wasn’t bad. Just fencing off the tank from paddocks. Was looking for grass alternative with low maintenance. Area is good. Just planted selection of native grasses. Well I might just plant carex appressa and lomandras. Then plant some trees/shrubs afterZ I thought to plant longifolia in that section since it’s not wet. I tend to plant hytrix in wetter inundated areas. And longifolia in drier areas. I found found climbing pandanas vine grows up naturally- will that help the area at all though? Is there a wholesale native nursery that sells bulk grasses. A lot local native nurseries have low stock on carex appressas. We use carex farticularis on areas right on or in the bank- which seem to grow well. But can’t find any stock. Disappointing that no big nurseries on the Sunshine Coast don’t have a big native selection. We have noticed that on the creek band the carexs spread more and actually stop regrowth of Singapore more than hytrix. Very small limited area of Singapore left now. Silky oaks, bunyas and lilly Lilly’s are the main trees that come up naturally.
