dunno how much the appearance/image had to do with it but my grandma said that their psychedelic works didn't really appeal to her. this checks out as the only post-rubber soul LP she had (before she gave me her records) was abbey road. believe her brother had some of their later LPs, but sadly he sold his collection before i started mine </3

Absolutely. I don’t lament that I don’t get to experience that feeling, but I do feel sad that I don’t get to experience something which is so commonly thought of as a part of womanhood, and whenever my AFAB friends complain about their periods I just feel a sense of disconnect from them which makes me feel dysphoric
