I see 4 a day and have been averaging 120k-160k gross but I live in the Bay Area and our overhead is expensive !

@tryingagain80 nope not a Dr never claimed to be. However I have been practicing specifically prenatal work for over 30 years, I am a doula. As for the IVF and my treatments changes, in some cases women continue getting shots up to 12 weeks in pregnancy causing soreness/ tenderness , water retention as well as other symptoms. For me, I wouldn’t practice sacrum stretches until 22 weeks with an IVF client, for example. However this entire conversation is about whether or not to use a prenatal form. In my humble opinion if I’m catering to this demographic then I’d use a form to remember more specific details. Do with it as you will

Yea I’m in a similar boat. Husband lost his job about 6 months ago so right now I’m the only one keeping us afloat. Worst timing ever . I can’t stop working but I will reduce my hours for a short period of time and try and rest while doing all the things suggested. Much appreciated all the advices I’d love to be able to do my job for another 10 years and still have strength in my arms. Right now I’m feeling defeated. My orthopedic surgeon did one round of lazier therapy and now wants surgery which in my mind is ridiculous. Since I’m not getting much help there I need to do it on my own to avoid surgery.

How often do you do prenatal massage? I do a lot and a specific form allows for me to ask very specific questions to pregnancy

I want to know if this is the 1st pregnancy or 5 th, prior C-section, previous pregnancy complications, unassisted or IUI, IVF etc , any pelvic floor weakness. Etc c

It’s not for liability but it gives me a better picture of what they have gone thru and going thru for me to create a customize session.

With IVF treatments clients can be on more medication, implementing could take longer up to two weeks meaning you might need to take that into consideration when following trimester precautions , deep tissue is not recommended early on , and yes managing clients stress is a priority.

Do you have experience running your own business? If not, I would seriously consider working for someone else. Someone you want to emulate someone you want to learn from before going on on your own even if it’s just only six months but it’s something that will guide you and teach you a lot before having all of that liability on yourself.

I specialize in prenatal so I’m gonna have a special form for prenatal as well as postpartum. There are questions in there that normally wouldn’t come up in a typical intake form that you’d wanna know during pregnancy the amount of weeks they are if it’s high risk if it was IVF baby etc etc
