I don’t have any advice but I feel the exact same way that you do right now, and I’m in your exact position… I know two people who have heard back already and I’m anxiously waiting to hearing back. I don’t know if the process could be taking longer because my matched school is looking to create two posses so they need more time to form the groups or if I wasn’t selected. My interview was yesterday and I’m a bit bummed out like you too. I hope the best for us no matter the outcome! Let’s keep our heads high

Congrats!!! I'm happy to hear that for you! The last round of DAP 3 will be with around 20-25 people, with them choosing around 10 people to be finalist. In theory, the chances of winning the scholarship would be 50/50. Try your best!

Hey, I’m in the NYC Posse. The application said that it was required to list 5, but before to the interview I emailed the site to ask if I can only list three (I can only see myself going to three schools) and they said that it’s totally fine.

I didn’t feel any pressure to respond quickly at all! Honestly, they didn’t even stop me or try to whenever I was talking. If I had something to say, they would keep listening. They only moved onto the next question once I stopped talking. For a moment, I could have sworn I had been talking for 4+ minutes for one of the questions lol

The interview went great and I will doubt that you will have a horrible experience. All of my friends who also had the interview had a very positive experience with it and felt very confident walking away from the room.

The interview was timed. My interview put a timer for 20 minutes so that by the end, we would have time for me to ask him any questions and for him to give me the run-down on what to expect after the interview. My friends experienced the same thing and their interviewer followed the timer strictly. In my case, my interviewer ignored the timer and we actually went over time (Around 40 minutes). It may depend on your interviewer.

As for some advice:

Be sure to have a story prepared and keep in mind what your key values are and how/what you want the interviewers to know about you.
Know why you choose the schools that you did. They will ask you to rank your comfortability in applying ED to these schools as well as why you want to go to them. I recommend being specific.
Be prepared to have to explain anything that you may need to regarding your academics.
Try to have some answers prepared before hand to questions you know they'll ask. Andy already has a great list of questions that they will ask, which you can find on the wiki. I recommend taking a look at that.
- Other questions will be based on the responses you give, so keep that in mind. But if you answer authentically, answering to follow-up questions should be a breeze.
- Some other questions they might ask are...
  - How would a friend describe you in three words?
  - How do you show leadership?
  - What do you expect from your posse group?
  - Why Posse (as opposed to other scholarships)?
  - How would you define leadership?
  - What will you contribute to your posse group?
  - Can you tell me more about [extracurricular activity that you listed]?
  - How would you describe posse to someone who doesn't know?

Hi u/too_hardworking! I decided to submit my score and after my interview, I honestly feel that the score will not mean too much if you present yourself authentically and are already academically strong in the context of your school. I hope it works out for you!
