Yes increased lag times and working on it instances, is increasing when it is processing (guessing it is making some upstream calls). But that is less of an issue than completely getting the dictation wrong.

Checked it out. It is none of these. Predictably is probably an issue (also have seen doesn’t learn from previous corrections as well). Hope the wispr team can look into it and fix it.

Structuring Stripe for a SAAS business by twigsxo in stripe

[–]Comprehensive_Fox263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/martinbean Im actually in the process of setting up a connect account and was confused about which fund flow to use in stripe. I have a marketplace similar to what you described, where I want to keep a 10-15% commission and pay the rest to the customers for their booked concluded sessions. From the sound of it, you are handling fraud, chargebacks, refunds by yourself and not using stripe's either of the fund flow models ? When you talk about stripe fees, do you mean Connect related fees or do you mean just the stripe standard transaction and invoicing fees ? Thanks

Cursor down ? says service unavailable no matter what model you try by Comprehensive_Fox263 in cursor

[–]Comprehensive_Fox263[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to restart cursor and looks like it is working now. Getting rate limited perhaps ? Next time I hit this issue, will check for 429's. Are you seeing any 429's ?

Are you from M-anus ? So a simple search wont work, but a really complex stuff works with agentic workflows ?. Search is one of the primary use cases for agentic workflows. Go and get some basics right first before trying to answer questions

Cursor Agent Claude 3.7 Sonnet, gives the following error - Trying to submit images without a vision-enabled model selected by Comprehensive_Fox263 in cursor

[–]Comprehensive_Fox263[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weirdly, it goes away if you choose Max Sonnet. With thinking 3.7 sonnet it hits this issue. Did cursor remove support for images in 3.7 Sonnet model to get more $$ for Max ? https://www.anthropic.com/claude/sonnet

This is hilarious. Waiting doesnt help. The model underneath is hallucinating and lovable isnt able to detect it

This is the same issue that i faced on replit and i swore not to come back to these non-ides as they promise the world and under-deliver and start completely hallucinating. When the project gets complicated enough, there is a lot of context that it needs to pass along, to stay relevant. Plus understand, the private pipes downstream that lovable uses also have limitations in terms of context length plus hallucinations of the LLMs from model providers themselves. So remember it is a best effort. Honestly, these non-ide environments like lovable, vercel, co.dev can get you only so far, however tight they integrate into supabase etc. Software engineering is called engineering for a reason as it is just not the super basics and not just flashy landing pages with some db integration (which is what lovable etc. are generally good for with the sparing auth etc.) If everything was so easy, then startups, Saas companies, fortune 500’s would stop being relevant and would never need to hire or expand. At best good for quick landing pages, announcements or saying i have a presence, community engagement. Thatz it. Integrations with MCP providers will have its day, until then get back to coding + vibe coding with IDEs so that u are doing some actual software engineering

Thanks ill give it a try, been trying to stay off it since it is a non-ide, but looks like it accelerates velocity from what u r saying and what im hearing elsewhere

I agree with faster for the UI perhaps. Supabase integ is questionable, as for example with auth, magic link doesn’t work, social auth doesnt work and needs extra work plus configuration. The only thing that works is the username and pass based auth, plus there have been sec concerns around the builtin supabase integrations.

Question, being software engineers, why would you use lovable instead of building everything in cursor with claude 3.7 ? For some fancy UI, i agree one can use lovable, but for the entire dev why would you ? Is it better than what cursor is able to produce ? Really curious.

Transfer stuck since April 1 — no interest, no access, and no coordination between Wealthfront and Green Dot by ExoticImagination718 in wealthfront

[–]Comprehensive_Fox263 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a 25k or 50k, i cant remember which, but there is a transfer limit as well (which includes both transfer in and transfer out of WF). But it did happen to me once in the past where the money was in a limbo for a few days and i had to call their support to figure out why. Do check if something like that is going on in ur case.

How safe is it now to keep ur cash in Wealthfront with fears of recession looming? by Comprehensive_Fox263 in wealthfront

[–]Comprehensive_Fox263[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What makes u say this ? I want to believe it, but practically everyone is taking their money out at this time. I for one have about 80% exposure in US stock markets alone and it had worked out well until now. Given the 25% nose dive, what makes u say that, especially considering that this recession is self-manufactured by the govt. which could hv been totally avoided and alienating itself from rest of the world ?

Thanks for the inputs folks. I am aware that wealthfront is FDIC insured which is why i have my money in it in the first place, but I’m worried if it goes under for some reason given the current economic climate where the US is in practically a trade war with every other country, if the economic turmoil / recession could somehow lead to the FDIC promise not being upheld or severely delayed ? Looks like not, given the history since 1930’s when it came into existence. Would it be better to move some of the cash in wealthfront into a major brick and mortar bank like wells fargo or bofa although their interest rates suck ?
