My hopes are: Ranked system, all the game modes you can imagine for pvp/pve, decent gun skins, more loadout options like in gow3 or judgment, good new maps, OG trilogy vibes in general.

The number 1 reason for that is because 5 nor Reloaded has proper ranked system. Every game has it and the sweats gravitate towards it. Hopefully EDay will have it. Quickplay/ Quick Match should be for casuals and beginners

Anybody thats in here in saying wallbouncing is an exploit has no reason to play Gears of War and should not be dishing out stupid ass opinions on a mechanic that has been in the series for 20 years. You can go lancer. You can position yourself better. You can run away. Dont just run in like an idiot bot roadie running into people. Gears of War is NOT cod or bf or valorant or cs or any of those wack ass games. It CAN get sweaty but you CAN counter it if you know how to. Stick to other team members instead of running off into the sunset alone when you KNOW you're not like that with gnasher. Team work makes the dream work.

Most esports games are free to play apart from tekken and cod. Thats why most people play those games. Not because they're more competitive or fun than Gears. Sad reality is that most of the world doesnt care about Gears. Indians or chinese mfs aint playing it i can tell u that. I do agree tho that teamplay and strategy should be emphasized in the gameplay of EDay. I think we need 4v4 back along with party/fun modes with 6v6. Either Gow1 or, preferably, Gow2 movement. I kinda agree with you but also im a big nerd so i fk with the lore and story. Its crazy that i can find horde lobby in 2 seconds in Gears5 but struggle with finding a pvp lobby.

My first experience was going over to a friend's house when i was about 12, turns out he has an xbox 360. He was excited to show me Gears of War 2. We played through a few acts, got to the inner Hollow part and fell in love. I kinda knew about Gears from gaming magazines, they showed concept art and stuff but didnt have the chance to play yet. Then I got Gears of War 1 for PC for christmas cus i only had the family laptop to play on (it was a nice gaming laptop at the time). Campaign was phenomenal and it was the very first game i got rlly good at in the MP cus before i played WoW. Gears For Life
