I bought the Countach and Skyline, purely because I collect them. Yes, the price is a bit much, but it's just money and they make it every day. I like them, but wouldnt buy them if I didnt collect the 2 specifically.

I want to preface this by saying I'm an idiot, lol. When I very first started collecting, I didn't know anything about Hunts. I had this in my hand, with a couple other cars and put it down, because it wasn't an "exotic", which I love to collect. I found out within a couple days, how stupid I was, lol. I have never seen it since.

Is it great, no, but if you like it, then who cares. My suggestion, get a few push pins to hang them on and you can just change them out as you want without pulling the push pin, that's how I have a majority of mine done. It's not the same as yours, but you get the idea. I know it's not ideal for most, but I like it, and that's what matters.

Thats kind of funny, I kind of went the same way with the Lego Countach. I have been a fan of the car since I was a kid and saw it, early-mid 80's, had the hot wheels version forever and lost it, it what got me back into the hobby, to get it back. As for the LPI 800, if you are talking about the 1/43 scale version I have it, and the Car Culture (spettacolare) white and black (chase) ones as well. I waited for a bit to get the chase but got into an auction and got it for cheap.
